Notorious, All Fired Up, My Heart Takes Over and On Your Radar was released worldwide....

I don't think they were, actually. Not in the US or in Canada, so you got two of the biggest markets in the world out already. I think you mean in Europe? Or can we consider they were released worldwide if they were released somewhere else than in the UK?

They were released in Europe, Australia and New Zealand. Surely that counts as a worldwide release?!

C-Listed on Radio 1. :)

what does that mean?

what does that mean?

It means it's been added to the Radio 1 Playlist and gets a minimum of 10 plays a week (or something?). The higher up the playlist you are (A - B - C) the more plays a week you get by Radio 1.

Don't there releases always begin like this? C listed 3 weeks before release, eventually peaking at A during release week, before being pulled the next.
It goes like this C-B-B-A-OUT, while a lot of other songs (usually, they become hits) stay A-listed for a few weeks.

If this is a big hit (i.e. top 2, I could see them getting 2 weeks on A-list at least)

The Billboard Chart is now including YouTube/Vevo streaming in the Hot 100 so their views on YouTube will be included in the chart as well as airplay, Spotify and iTunes.

Speaking of YouTube, has anyone else noticed how slow their views are at climbing now? They racked up a few million in just under two weeks and now we're still under 5M. And the Sean Paul version hasn't even reached 800K yet.

Are they getting rotation on the music channels in America?

They announced in an interview that their planning of promoting in Australia an Germany. This makes sense as they've rescheduled their what about us release in Germany. Chasing The Sats is also going to be on German Tvs!!

When's it released in Germany? They'll also need to release a CD single there as well because they're still very popular.

What About Us will reach No.1 with this hype and not much happening in the charts.

The best thread for it to go in would be the TV show thread imo...

Yeah, maybe if it goes to #1 or #2, but otherwise, we all know what's going to happen. :(

I would really like them to get an #1, but I don't feel it right now, you know? There are no competition, it's too easy to say "They can get the #1!" ... There must be something that will stay in their way.

The thing is, though, what will happen if this underperforms? They've got two versions of the song, good TV support, decent radio support (so far), no competition and a fairly big profile so if this has another "peak top ten then plummet" chart run what is the next step? What on earth will they need to do to get a proper HIT?

I'm sure it will go top three at least but I'm more concerned about it's performance after release week. This NEEDS to stick around and have at least three weeks in the top ten.

If this underperformes, I doubt they will have much more chances. They really need to be out there promoting and need to perform on bigger shows than This Morning/Daybreak etc. I'm surprised that their not doing any promotion at the moment. Of course, their taking their two week break before the single release and will take their one month break following the single release...

- Dancing On Ice

- Graham Norton

2/3 of them would be BRILLIANT.

lol There arent many channels in the US that actually play music videos anymore. The most popular used to be MTV aka MUSIC TV which should be changed to RTV cause all they play is reality garbage. Anyways here in Canada, MuchMusic is probably the biggest music channel & their video is getting regular spins. I catch it on the TV every week. Much More Music is another channel & I have seen their video on there once or twice.

I'd like to know from the UK fans, why does it seem like The Saturdays are so underrated in the UK? I mean in all honesty. I mean, they're so beautiful & they actually have TALENT.
