Since when did 'we all' think Martin Rolinski was a predictable AC?!

I think Martin will be quite lucky if he comes 5th sadly, though I am fully expecting the song to be brilliant either way.

I assumed he was a favourite because of the name, dw :lol:

Wow, they were NOT kidding about Janet Leon being the favourite to win. The song (well, judging by a minute-long snippet) sounds HUGE. I love it too.

 

Not feeling Queen Af Ugglas' song yet though. brb jumping off a building.

It does indeed sound very good - I want to say it doesn't sound as good as I want it to be, but these minute previews never do the songs justice at all.

Woah, without hearing the other songs obviously and the semi 4 songs, Heartstrings indeed sounds like 'The One' :o

Heartstrings definitely sounds like it's got more to give from the other two minutes.

Janet Leon /// This is some huge shit. Definitely deserving its hype /// 9.5/10

Eddie Razaz:- The best of the male dance-pop tracks so far, easily. Surely it'll be going straight to the final?

 

Elin Petersson:- A very nice song indeed and possibly not a shoe in for last place afterall. That said, I can't see it reaching the top 5 tonight.

 

Ravaillacz:- The only sort of schlager that does well in Melodifestivalen anymore. I hope this year marks a change, but I fear this is going to AC at least.

 

Amanda Fondell:- Risky. I like it, but I'm not sure the viewers will get it at all. If it progresses any further, it'll be on name recognition alone.

 

Martin Rolinski:- I'll always be a fan of this sound, but Sweden has probably moved on from it.

 

Caroline af Ugglas:- I like it, so that's the kiss of death. Hopefully it'll reach AC.

 

State Of Drama:- One can never underestimate the rock vote in Melodifestivalen. It's quite Western sounding which might go against it, but I would not be at all surprised if it makes it further in the competition.

 

Janet Leon:- Bit of an underwhelming chorus. It's alright, but I can't really understand why it's being touted as a favourite. Then again, I understand very little of what goes on anywhere anymore :lol:

OMG In And Out Of Love is absolutely CORKING. Nothing else is, sadly. Heartstrings has a totally limp chorus and Amanda's voice is a bit MUCH across 3 minutes.

'Heartstrings' is fantastic, possibly my joint favourite along with 'Skyline'! Its looking more likely than ever that YOHIO are going to win looking at the odds and the general feeling. :( It would be my least favourite entrant from the host country since Greenjolly back in 2005 for Ukraine.

Exactly, if he manages to come up with something as good as Soldiers (minus the f***ing harmonica) I could be totally on board with that. I wouldn't even mind YOHIO.

Yeah I really liked 'Mamo', especially the live performance in ESC itself!

Ulrik's song could be good, I think it's probably out of him, Janet and YOHIO though I'm inclined to say the latter has the biggest chance. Heartbreak Hotel is good enough, but it would be their worst entry since probably The Worrying Kind, or maybe even Las Vegas. But they've had so many fantastic entries since then to be fair, it's hard to live up to.

The Worrying Kind was great, so underrated. Yohio would be their worst entry since Las Vegas, I really hope it doesn't win but they can't be perfect forever. At least Norway and Denmark (and perhaps Finland) have got it right for the Scandis this year.
