Posted February 13, 201312 yr http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/music/news/a45...ampaign=twitter Leona Lewis has parted from her management company. The singer was signed to Modest! Management following her win on The X Factor back in 2006 and went on to sell over 20 million records worldwide. "We were very proud to have Leona on the Modest! roster and of everything she has achieved," Modest! directors Richard Griffiths and Harry Magee told Music Week. "We wish her all the best in the next phase of her career." Lewis added: "I greatly enjoyed my time working with Modest! and I'm very proud of all the things we achieved together. "I would like to thank them for all their hard work and support over the years. They played an important role in my career and I'll always be grateful to them. I'm looking forward to a new chapter in my career." It is understood that Modest! is currently helping Lewis find new management in America, with new deals being discussed with Front Line among others. Lewis's latest album Glassheart reached number three in the UK charts back in October. Edited February 13, 201312 yr by Karma

February 13, 201312 yr Author Just saw this omg! :w00t: Now she can finally get rid of their crappy management and get a good team behind her. I wonder what this means for Glassheart now...
February 13, 201312 yr I wonder what this means for Glassheart now... It could mean two things: 1. Leona signs a new management team quickly and things get going again. 2. Leona will wait until after the tour to sort it out properly, so there will be a bit of delay. The good thing is though that she is seeking management for the US, so Glassheart must have a planned release there sometime this year!
February 13, 201312 yr Author I'm starting to think Glassheart may be finished it's been way too long. :\ Once tour is done probably staight in to the studio for album #4 that's how it's looking right now anyway.
February 15, 201312 yr After the result of the glassheart era its a great move, i hope she finds a strong management team that can help turn her fortunes around, over all glassheart has been a complete disaster so hopefully album 4 will have a very different outcome.
February 15, 201312 yr I'm sure the move can only benefit her. Glassheart has been managed appaullingly in the UK. It should have done much better.
February 15, 201312 yr According to the Mirror a spokesperson from Syco have said the following A Syco spokesperson says: "Leona Lewis is one of the UK's most successful artists, one of a few that have enjoyed huge global success in recent year selling more then 20 million records worldwide. "Leona will begin the recording of her fourth album imminently to be released later this year. She remains a key priority artist for Syco and for Sony Music Worldwide." Looks like She is already starting her 4TH album and it will be out later this year. http://www.mirror.co.uk/3am/celebrity-news...company-1710887
February 15, 201312 yr Author Can we still hope Glassheart will be released as a single while she tours? I just dont think so. Think it's over.
