September 8, 201311 yr Author 'BEATING OF MY HEART' CHOSEN FOR BJSC LVIII http://www.beatmyday.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/03/Matisse-and-Sadkooooo.jpg After scraping in at 27th last month, Cadelicia have decided to go back to the dance route, which proved successful in July. M-3ox's 'Beating of my Drum' was chosen, with Matisse and Sadko providing a thumping remix that smashed the original to pieces. September 22, 201311 yr Author ANOTHER SMASH FOR CADELICIA http://www.rawgoodage.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/03/matisse-sadko.jpg Returning to EDM proved a masterful plan for Cadelicia, as 'Beating Of My Heart' not only gave the country their highest placing, but also their highest points total. The Cadelician public are grateful to all that voted for the song, commending the fact that they were the highest country to not get 12 points from any other nation. Plans for October's contest have already been put into motion, with the entry in the final stages of being chosen. Cadelician Express c.2013

Her song 'She Beats' has received praise from various other countries and both herself and the Cadelician public are hopeful that a fourth qualification in a row is possible. October 6, 201311 yr Ingermanlandia congratulates Cadelicia with a good artist choice (we considered her by ourselves, albeit with different songs - Sing to Me or Young Minds) and wishes you the best of luck. ^_^
October 14, 201311 yr Author NO SCARE FOR CADELICIA THIS OCTOBER http://images.popmatters.com/news_art/e/emika-2013-500x250.jpg There were sore heads last night as thousands of Cadelicians partied throughout the night after finding out that Emika had given the country a fourth qualification in a row. Once again despite middle to disappointing odds and predictions, Cadelicia come out on top and will now compete in the final of October's contest. There have also been reports of President Dewar meeting a possible entrant for the final main contest of the year. More to follow. Cadelician Express c.2013
November 11, 201311 yr Author CADELICIA LIVING THE GOOD LIFE http://www.radarmusic.com.au/resources/imgselect/elizabeth-rose-elizabeth-rose.jpg The people of Cadelicia were left to sweat tonight as Trifoski waited until the end of the semi-final show to reveal that Elizabeth Rose had qualified. With 11/12 positive predictions it could have easily been considered a shock if Cadelicia hadn't qualified, but the jury is still out after Elizabeth was given odds of 59/2 to win the contest. In previous news, Emika gave Cadelicia their third best result since joining the contest, with a position of 13th in the final (94 points). Will Cadelicia get a 4th top 15 finish out of the last five contests? Only time will tell. Cadelician Express c.2013
November 11, 201311 yr didn't notice you'd finished top 15 three times already! le cadelica (intentional spelling error ftw) hath come a long way since those early dnq days
January 18, 201411 yr Author I BREAK HORSES FOR FIRST CONTEST OF 2014 http://www.chromewaves.net/images/interface/20131025iBreakHorses.jpg Despite finishing a healthy 5th in the semi-final, Elizabeth Rose faltered in the final, leaving Cadelicia as the only country in November's contest to not appear in the top 3 of anyone's votes. Rose finished a disappointing 23rd, just keeping her head above the bottom 10. For the first contest of 2014 President Lauren Dewar decided to go for a song that she had enjoyed even before the November contest. I Break Horses finished in the top 5 of one of the Unknown Pleasures contests last year, and were delighted to be chosen to represent Cadelicia in their landmark 10th contest. January 24, 201411 yr Author I BREAK HORSES QUALIFY FOR FINAL http://dailybeatz.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/06/i-break-horses.jpeg Once again Cadelicia defy both the odds and predictions, qualifying for their 6th contest in a row. Only three countries out of 7 predicted 'Faith' to qualify, and with odds ranging from 25/1 to 45/1, it looked like it could be an unhappy beginning to 2014. Cadelician Express c.2014

March 9, 201411 yr Author I BREAK HORSES DISAPPOINT, TRITONAL FLOP http://i59.tinypic.com/2dt545f.png I Break Horses - Faith | 26th (64 points) Tipped to finish safely in mid-table, I Break Horses struggled in the final and finished 26th out of the 31-strong final. It was a disappointment, as it looked like a similar scenario to last month's bad finish... http://i61.tinypic.com/6hq7pi.png Tritonal - Now Or Never (feat. Phoebe Ryan) | DNQ (16th - 61 points in Semi 1) ...Hoping to fare better, Cadelicia opted to go down the dance route that has been so successful for them. However, despite predictions of a top 10 finish, Tritonal stalled in the semi-final and missed out on a place in the final of BJSC LXII. On a positive note, with a score of 61 Cadelicia hold the second highest ever DNQ score and the highest DNQ score in nearly 50 contests (the highest is 64 points for Espen in BJSC XV). March 22, 201411 yr Author FOR BDK RETURN TO CONTEST FOR CADELICIA http://i61.tinypic.com/kspr5.png For the first time in their history the Cadelician public have decided to vote through a recycled artist to represent the nation at the 63rd edition of the Buzzjack Song Contest. For BDK were chosen after performing their new song "What I Must Find", which captured the attention of even the President. Having previously featured a couple of months ago, they'll look to have a better time after languishing in the bottom half of the table. Watch the rather striking video below. April 15, 201411 yr Author CADELICIA MATCH ODDS http://i62.tinypic.com/ay0iuv.png For BDK - What I Must Find | 11th (96 points) For BDK helped Cadelicia to their second highest finish last night, narrowly missing out on the top 10 by just two points. Having never looked like finishing outside of the top 20, there was a sense of optimism when, with around 5 votes left to reveal, Cadelicia were riding high in 9th place. Unfortunately it wasn't meant to be, as no votes from the last three votes meant a small slip out. The people of Cadelicia celebrated the 11th place after several months of disappointment. April 17, 201411 yr I liked 'What I Must Find' don't get me wrong but something that bothered me a bit about it - does the singer have a lisp or is the sound quality on YouTube just hideously low?
