yeah Dark Horse probably won't be added yet (not that it needs to anyway, it's got plenty of time)

Shot Me Down and Tsunami (Jump) are the 2 certainties this week; with Duke Dumont, Flo Rida ('How I Feel'), Chloe Howl, Pixie Lott and Tensnake being possibilities

maybe Sweater Weather could be added this week too? not so sure though. still holding out hope for Sky Ferreira's "You're Not the One" to be added in the next week or two :kink:

Surely Little Mix are strong contenders too this week?

I do find it remarkable that every Saturdays single has been playlisted and they've overcome all the setbacks of their career, good on them I say.

The Saturdays will have to fully rely on Capital sooner or later but Radio 1 still plays the Saturdays 6 or 7 times a week even now, so I think they will at least playlist this one, especially since it fits the Radio 1 sound a bit more.

Lorde's Team hasn't performed as well as I expected for a song A-listed on R1,R2,R6,Xtra and Capital, but I really hope they keep it on for one more week.

Ok guys so access all areas is giving us tweets from the playlist meeting first song up for discussion -

Rae Morris - Skin

Apparently they've decided it's too early for a daytime addition but it's beautiful!

2nd record up for discussion -

Sky Ferriera - Your not the one

And the response is a maybe -

@BBCR1: There's a lot of love for this track from @skyferreira, so it's a potential addition to the #R1Playlist. Final decision yet to be made

Next up Chloe Howl - Rumour

Response - @BBCR1: Lyrics you can relate to... Great personality, the decision on @ChloeHowl is to add her to the In New Music We Trust Playlist!

Next up Issues - Never lose your Flames

Response - @BBCR1: This is an act that is definitely doing something different & while the team are excited about them it feels a bit too early for @issues.

Next up - Example - Kids Again

Response - @BBCR1: The team agree that @example has got such a strong & loyal fan-base that there would definitely be an appetite for this track... So he's on.

Next up The Neughbourhood - Sweater Weather

Response. - @BBCR1: A lovely song which received a fantastic reaction when played previously... @thenbhd and 'Sweater Weather' are on the playlist!

Happy days :)

Next up Little Mix Word Up

Response - @BBCR1: It's a fun & feel good track from the biggest girl group in the world right now, and it's for @sportrelief! Likely add to playlist next week

Next up - @BBCR1: The discussion of @katyperry track 'Dark Horse' took about 1 second... It's a unanimous yes, so she's on! http://t.co/awlDIPVXhr

Next up - The Pretty Reckless - Heaven Knows

@BBCR1: The type of rock record most of our audience will like, really catchy and really different @TPROfficial 'Heaven Knows' is on the playlist!

So overall added - @BBCR1: Added to the #R1Playlist this week are @davidguetta, @DVBBS & @BorgeousMusic @DukeDumont @londongrammar @example @thenbhd @katyperry

So they basically just discuss the INMWT new songs and Guetta and all are a give??

Also - @BBCR1: Also added to the #R1Playlist this week are @TPROfficial @ChloeHowl and @george_ezra

In the INMWT list

"The #R1Playlist has run out of room for @skyferreira this week, but she'll be back for discussion next week!"

Added to the #R1Playlist this week are @davidguetta, @DVBBS & @BorgeousMusic @DukeDumont @londongrammar @example @thenbhd @katyperry
This was 3 hours ago, couldn't they all be put in the same post?

Done. It's generally not advisable to post twice in a row over editing let alone 9 times.

Looks like a great list of additions this week!

:P her next single may do better
Nice to see them getting on the Guetta train while it's got hype and riding high in the chart. Also yay for Duke Dumont/Dvbbs & Borgeous/Katy Perry!

I don't see why - if they're not gonna playlist this single then they're definitely not gonna playlist the follow up

Potential new additions this week...

Chase & Status feat. Ed Thomas - Blk & Blu

Childish Gambino - I Crawl

Foster The People - Coming Of Age

Little Mix - Word Up (pretty much a dead cert from what they said last week)

My Chemical Romance - Fake Your Death (they had it as record of the day this week and it's fantastic so hopefully they'll add it straightaway)

Jason Derulo - Stupid Love (even though it's the 4th single from the era hopefully they'll still add this)

If not this week then definitely next week:

Haim - If I Could Change Your Mind

Klaxons feat. Gorgon City - There Is No Other Time

Martin Garrix & Jay Hardway - Wizard

Hope they playlist Foster the People, Klaxons & MCR! Hopefully they will make a decision on Sky Ferreria today after last weeks teasing tweets!!

I really want Kiesza's 'Hideaway' to be playlisted, as well as Klaxons and Martin Garrix (the latter is a definite anyway).

These are all 24th March though, so could be a week early yet?

They could add Martin Garrix this week because his last song was so huge & Wizard was also a record of the day recently!
I don't see why - if they're not gonna playlist this single then they're definitely not gonna playlist the follow up

I'm so glad it's looking like 'Nasty' will be snubbed. Completely justified IMO because it's an utterly uninspired, dated and woefully-executed attempt at a cheap comeback hit. If there's actual effort and originality put into her next single, I'd hope they'd consider playlisting it, regardless of the shite that proceeded it. Seems like a nice enough girl though :P.

EDIT: Just realised that was in relation to last week's playlist - so there may be a chance of her being added this week after all? Ah well, the sentiment remains.
