I presume Molly - Children Of The Universe is complete wishful thinking? Even though it sounds totally Radio 1 friendly, they'll write it off as "Eurovision cheese" or "cookie-cutter pop" whatever that means.

 

They already played it yesterday, as well as Radio 2. I think Radio 2 will playlist, but Radio 1 won't but give occasional plays.

Radio 1 never touch anything Eurovision related, it's been that way since I can remember.

They have no reason not to IMO, they kept supporting her after Bounce underperformed, and Change Your Life did (moderately) better, so I definitely think they'll playlist Fancy, but not this week IMO.

Haven't got time to do my full predictions today but I pretty much agree with both of the above posts :) plus I think Iggy is a dead cert whether it's added this week or next. Really hoping for the Klaxons being added today!

I think there'll be a clear-out today. I can see them removing most of the following:

Ellie Goulding - Goodness Gracious, Disclosure - F For You, One Direction - Midnight Memories, Lily Allen - Air Balloon, Teisto - Red Light and maybe Bastille - Flaws, but I'm not sure when the impact date is meant to be for that one. I can see them getting rid of David Guetta - Shot Me Down, too even though it didn't make it to the A-list.

 

To be added for certain I'd say Sigma - Nobody To Love. With a high possibility for Iggy Azalea feat Charli XCX - Fancy and John Newman – Out Of My Head. I'd say they'll probably add The Vamps - Last Night and Jakwob too.

 

I wonder if they'll C/B list Enrique or Flo Rida due to the fact they're doing so well in the midweeks?

 

I'm not sure about The Saturdays - Not Giving Up, because they gave their past two singles such weak playlistings, but Disco Love probably surpassed their expectations and this new one is more potential of doing well in the charts so who knows?

I'm expecting to see 'Not Giving Up' today.

They might add Flo Rida as he appeals to their audience but theyre usually stubborn with Enrique singles!
