#37 on today's album chart mid week.

Hmm, not looking good really. I was expecting nothing less than 5k for this considering the previous debut sales for her other live albums and the massive success of the MDNA Tour.

Zero promotion so can't say I'm surprised maybe most people have got the 2cd & DVD set rather buying the album.

Did the other live albums not have a 2 CD and DVD version then? Wouldn't have thought they would have done as well as they did if this was the case.

The other albums only had half on the songs on the one disc cd so mdna is a first to get the whole show on cd. All apart from The Confessions Tour all the other tours have been released in other formats (apart from digital of course).

Her previous 3 live albums were NOT released separately, they were bonuses for the DVDs (and also available as digital tracks).

 

However, I distinctly recall that the sales of the Celebration CD and DVD were combined, so are we sure it's not the case for MDNA World Tour?

As long as it remains top 75 by Sunday I don't mind.

 

The set as made#3 on the music DVD and #66 on the Irish album charts.

Very pleased it's number one the Music DVD Chart! If sales were split, then #55 in the official album chart isn't that bad. Hopefully Music Week will give a little information tomorrow.
