Cannes was just for the weekend then, as they're posting from Switzerland again now.

 

 

I also met Prince Albert of Monaco the other day and made him aware that we were 5th or 6th cousins.

Back in the day Oliver Cromwell came to Ireland and took all of the castles of our family. So I said ‘’Congrats on getting the Castles back’’ and high-fived him. That story, as unlikely as it reads, is true. The High 5 and f***ing Oliver Cromwell. f*** Oliver Cromwell. :lol:

 

I remember this, it was a beautiful moment ..

She is responsible for my favourite moment from the Albert Hall Gigs that I did recently.

She helped me out of performance mode and into something that felt as real as anything can get.

An authentically beautiful moment.

Wanna know another one of my ‘’Weirds’’?

 

It’s Soccer Aid. Something im incredibly proud of. I love it.

But there is one thing that happens every year that gives me the full-on panics.

At the end of the match, I’m given the total money raised from the evening to read off a card.

 

I have dyscalculia, *dyslexia for maths* I haven’t got a f***ing clue how to read those numbers.

My minds like ‘’16 a million,700 and 56ixty thousand and 500 pence’’ I’m giggling writing it.

They write it down in words for me and even then I’m flummoxed. If you get the chance pls watch and see if you can tell I’m shitting it.

 

So Soccer Aid has come and gone and what an incredible experience I’m so grateful and so proud.

 

It does bring with it its assorted dumb dumbs on social media, “How can you ask us normal people for money when you’ve got so much? “

Well, the truth is I’ve given millions and millions away, I’ve done adverts and not taken a single penny, I’ve released books and not taken a single penny, I’ve done paid media things and not taken a single penny, not a tax refundable thing, nothing in it for me apart from giving a big bunch of my ill-gotten gains to someone else that could really use it, but you do it the way that you’re supposed to”by not telling anybody’’ - so I did that. And you know what I didn’t like it because I didn’t get anything from it. Just random dickheads on the Internet assuming.
