First time I went to Stoke on Trent with my Mum - we went in there. That was 2007. That was the :wacko: time that as we walked into it - Misunderstood was playing on the juke box. :o It was so weird. Also my Mum was approached by a gentleman of advanced years and he was telling her what a "lovely lady" she was. :lol: They had a function room upstairs. It was very much a locals pub.

 

Second time we went to Stoke was when RW was 40 - so 2014 and my Mum wouldn't go in there because it was such a dive - very rough. :o It had been left to deteriorate.

 

I wonder if they can do something with it to renovate it?
