April 23, 201312 yr It was always going to be tough when he was ahead of the car that is nicest to it's tyres and fitted with a triple championship winning engine.
May 9, 201312 yr For anyone interested in MotoGP: BT Sport has acquired an exclusive five-year deal to broadcast MotoGP in the UK, taking over from the BBC from the 2014 season. All grands prix, qualifying and practice sessions will be shown live under the new deal, which was confirmed at a presentation in London's Olympic Park on Thursday. BT Sport also plans to host full coverage of both Moto2 and Moto3. In addition to full race coverage, it will also operate a 'second screen' function, giving viewers the chance to watch races from riders' on-board cameras. MotoGP commercial chief Carmelo Ezpeleta had previously stressed the importance of free to air TV, but said BT Sport was better positioned to bring viewers an increased level of coverage and interaction. "We were looking for a partner to increase the visibility of our sport, and I think BT is the best place to develop in the future," he said. "The market has changed, and the possibilities with BT are amazing. A big audience used to be the most important factor; now customers want more. "The BBC were very good to us, but this is exactly like the switch from 500s - we need to have something capable of growing with us." While exact scheduling plans are yet to be decided, BT confirmed it plans at the least to show every session live via its new BT Sport App. The commentary and presenting teams are also yet to be confirmed, but BT plans to include ex-professionals among its panel. Coverage will be hosted on-site with additional studio content from the new Olympic Park facility. So MotoGP will no longer be on free to air television. So the BBC have lost the rights to MotoGP. At least we still have F1 shown on the BBC even though half of the races are live and half of the races are highlights.
May 26, 201312 yr Sky has utterly shite commentators! Still talking about Kimi being 13th at the end of the race when simply looking at a screen would have told them he was in 13th for a little bit then hammered his way through to 11th and then 10th. I supposed because it's not golden boy Hamilton they were happy to talk shite and not actually see if they are being even remotely accurate. Also the anti-Roman brigade is pissing me off no end. They praise Perez for his dangerous moves yet when Riccado breaks early, suddenly and sharply it's all Roman's fault that they collided. I'd like to see them avoid that collision. Also Mercedes should be banned for their cheating. They clearly broke the rules by using this years car in a test that has allowed them to gain a competitive advantage because they can see how their car and it's various set up's impact on Pirelli compounds. The rules say that in a tyre test like that the car used can not be from this year or last year.
May 26, 201312 yr Also, what exactly does MotoGP have to do with Formula One??? Nothing at all, sorry about it. What punishment do you think Mercedes will get when the FIA find them guilty? Quote from Kimi Raikkonen when asked if drivers would talk to Perez: "That won't help. Maybe someone should punch him in the face."
May 26, 201312 yr Author It was a very exciting race, one of the best possible you can get for a dry Monaco GP! Glad that everyone involved in crashes seems to be ok which of course is the main thing! So happy for both Sutil and di Resta, both managed some amazing overtakes! 5th and 9th place is amazing and it's still incredible how they are pulling further ahead of McLaren in the championship! :D Congratulations to Nico on his second win also, it feels like he has won many more races than that!
May 26, 201312 yr Aaah Kimi. That is why he is my favourite driver! As for Mercedes, I want them banned. Although I am slightly biased because I would dearly love Hamilton to never race a F1 car again. Bias aside, they have an unfair advantage of gaining far more experience with Pirelli compounds on their current car and thus now have 1,000km of extra data to help them overcome their wear issues. As for Rosberg, he doesn't deserve congratulations for winning a race, for that he'd had to have done some FUCKING RACING.

It was not a stroll in the park for Rosberg by any means, you are being way too harsh on him. There were several safety cars and they are not easy for a guy with 1 win behind him with a triple world champion right behind him at the restart, many drivers would have cracked but Nico handled things great.
June 10, 201312 yr Sadly the Canadian Grand Prix was overshadowed over the death of a marshal following an incident where he fell under the wheels of a mobile crane when he tried to retrieve his radio as he had tripped when helping to retrieve Esteban Gutierrez's crashed car.
June 10, 201312 yr I wouldn't say sadly overshaddowed given that it was one of, if not, the dullest Canadian Grand Prix ever. The loss of the Marshal's life is of course deeply tragic.
June 23, 201312 yr Former F1 driver Juan Pablo Montoya, you know that useless twat that cost McLaren the Constructors championship in 2005 and gave it all nicely gift-wrapped to the highly deserving Renault by hitting a drain in China and destroying the floor of his piece of shit car, ran out of fuel on the last lap of the latest NASCAR Sprint Cup round.
June 25, 201312 yr What do y'all think of the "penalty" given to Merc by the FIA for their illegal test? The tribunal ruled that they broke the rules by using a 2013 car and by holding it in secret and they get to miss the young drivers test... :nocheer: Hardly a fitting punishment. The rules that they were ruled to have broken should have meant they got a ban of some kind.
June 26, 201312 yr Yeah, it's ridiculous but was expected since Mercedes might have left F1 if they got a harsher penalty. Red Bull already announced that thay plan to test as well and will accept the penalty.
June 26, 201312 yr I don't think that it's fair that manufacturers can threaten to just quit if they are threatened with a just punishment. Personally I'd let them walk and allow the return of an independent.
June 27, 201312 yr As I'm sure you will heard today. Mark Webber will be leaving Formula One at the end of the season to join Porsche's new sportcar programme next year and drive in the Le Mans 24 hours. What do people think of this move by Webber? Who to replace Webber at Red Bull? Raikkonen or someone else.
June 27, 201312 yr Right decision for him, deserves more than being Marko/Vettel's bitch I will miss him, tells it like it is IMHO Ricciardo will replace him
June 28, 201312 yr Right decision for him, deserves more than being Marko/Vettel's bitch I will miss him, tells it like it is IMHO Ricciardo will replace him I dont really agree him being Vettels b?tch, but I hope Raikkonen goes to Red Bull, would amazing to see what the guys can do with a top car and team. He could even challenge Vettel, who knows.
July 7, 201312 yr Kimi hardly needs to move to Red Bull to 'challenge' Vettel. He did just fine in the Lotus Renault this afternoon. Both of the Lotus/Renault drivers did a bloody marvellous job today! Fine driving by Romain this afternoon, really wonderful race from him.
