OT : I didn't know Lana Del Rey's 'Burning Desire' was available via iTunes (exclusively)?

[Heads off to buy it immediately - can't wait for a taste of Lana's burning desire...] ;)

BTW, I see there is a poll for this, but it seems to be closed?

Surely it is relavent now, especially as we are getting close to the release date?

You might have looked at the duplicate thread that was closed. This is the Saturdays prediction thread and it's not closed, never was: http://www.buzzjack.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=149720

I didn't realise Avicii has a second track in the top 30 iTunes chart, where did that come from  I did see the track on popjustice 2 days ago.
If 30 Days could sell 35,000 in it's opening week I have faith What About Us what's had a lot more hype/Airplay can pass 50,000. As I said What About Us expands outside The Saturdays and their fanbase.

I'm looking forward to the release of What About Us, it will be interesting to say the least!

I don't get this "it's appeal expands outside their fanbase" talk. What has WAU got that the likes of 'Ego' and 'Forever Is Over' didn't have to appeal to more people?

For one everybody seems to know about What About Us. It's got a decent amount of hype regarding it. People who don't even like The Saturdays are claiming that it's a "tune" etc. Ego could have have done better had it not been released after the album.

For me What About Us makes me feel good and want to party! My mates don't really like The Saturdays but love What About Us, I would be surprised if this missed the top 2.

I wouldn't have thought 'What About Us' has particularly wide appeal compared to most of their songs but its success on pre-orders and the fake version are definitely indicating good things - I don't want to say it's a potential #1 because they've had 'this could actually be a #1!' several times before and as of yet it's not happened but it should definitely be at least another top 3 for them.
Pink ain't that far behind Bastille at 3 when combined now

Am I the only one that hasn't seen any hype for The Saturdays' return at all. I'm a morning/evening listener to R1 and haven't heard the track once, haven't heard it out, haven't heard it in shops and have yet to see the music video. I stand by my position that they don't really 'deserve' a number-one with anything now - they seem far too desperate for one.
Yeah, I haven't heard much about it at all outside Buzzjack. They used to be in the tabloids every day when they had a single coming out, but now they just seem to want to print photos of Rihanna and Rita Ora and slag off Justin Bieber

I only listen to the radio around 30 mins a day and that's the drive to and from my office. I've heard it on Capital quite a bit (my finger slipped I didn't mean to switch over to capital ;) ) but not on R1.

Personally What About Us is no different from their previous hits, chart wise, they have tried to get there in the past and peaked at #2, so I don't think the new track will make any difference whatsoever. I'll think to get a #1 record the Sats will have to sell over 75k plus, I'm yet to see a Saturdays track to sell more than 80k on their debut week. I know single sales are low at the moment, but I'm sure they will pick up. That's my two pence worth.

"ducks for flying objects"

Throws a pram.

Surely in two weeks time, it will only be around 50,000 to get to number one?

They played it at 07:30am on Monday! :P

And sorry, I have to disagree with SceneOfSixCrimes. This new song has got so much hype around it, and I actually think it's OK compared to most of their other release.s It really has appealed to people outside their fanbase.

#65 Nelly Furtado - Hey Porsche :D

Nelly Furtado!! Ha ha

It's Nelly btw :P

I actually put a lot of the 'What About Us' hype down to Sean Paul, as much as his version makes me shake my head. I've heard several people (friends of mine) who seem to associate the song with him, and go 'barang barang barang' - as comical as his version is, it seems to have brought extra attention and appeal to the song.
