March 10, 201312 yr Ouch at Clarity exiting the top 40 from no29...it really was radio 1 plays keeping it high on itunes. Also is this the final weeks in the top 100 for gotye and rudimental?
March 10, 201312 yr Singles: 30 41 6 Stereophonics Indian Summer well deserved Top 30 - their best single in a long while, imo. nice chart run too - 90-124-53-45-43-41-30...
March 11, 201312 yr Is this another number 2 peak for Bruno Mars, im doubtful it can claim top prize now! Wonderful to see Stereophonics crack a top 30 hit, it is indeed their best single in a very long time. Great week for Olly Murs in the album chart with both album gaining a nice jump,if army of two had gone top 10 it would have rounded off a wonderful week for Olly. Im chuffed to bits and shocked at the same time to see Dido climb in the singles, its peak is so much better than i thought it would achieve but im disappointed with the album dropping to number 5, i sense her album will perform in a similar way to Leona Lewis's Glassheart album.
March 11, 201312 yr Why "Everywhere" is so high ? I don't believe it, its been the most talk about commercial ad on TV  google shetland pony and find out. :P
March 11, 201312 yr Hopefully Diamonds, Don't You Worry Child and Gangnam Style should leave the top 40 next week and make way for new music.

March 14, 201312 yr Author Shame to see Ceremonials go, but it did well to spend over half(?) of what Lungs did in the charts consecutively. It was a few months short of half of 'Lungs', which had 176 weeks consecutively from the start of its run. 70 is a lot more than I expected 'Ceremonials' to get though, it started off rather poorly after how massive 'Lungs' was. I hope their third album can be big as well, it should be a guaranteed #1 unless they release on a stupid competitive week but it has a lot to live up to longevity-wise.

Ah, I thought Lungs consecutive weeks were more 150. It seems that despite the post-album singles not doing very well chart-wise (obviously excluding Spectrum), they do give their albums good boosts which build up that longevity. So long as they release ~6 singles from each album, I don't think we need worry for a while yet. It will be 2 years this November since the release of Ceremonials (same amount between that and Lungs) so maybe another album out at the end of the year or maybe next since I haven't read anything about them recording a new album yet.
March 15, 201312 yr They need to release their 3rd album by this time next year. Taking their time might cost them.
