April 25, 201312 yr Okay, I agree now that it falling rather quickly now to #22 on iTunes is a little disappointing/worrying. I was hoping for at least 3 weeks top 20, but looks like it may only get one or two and it is a rather hefty drop from last weeks #13 position. Looks 10 weeks top 40 is a little too ambitious now...? April 25, 201312 yr As I've said before, it's not worrying at all. They're close to 300K in sales so they've already outsold a bunch of #1's from the last two years. Girl groups/boy groups do NOT have chart longevity. Look at JLS's chart runs! And their #1 singles were always considered as huge successes.
April 25, 201312 yr Yeah, I think WhatAboutUs is over in America unless they bother to go across and start promoting. They've underperformed in the US that's undeniable, I think the girls are partly to blame. The radio add date was also stupid! I wonder how much can we blame the girls, though? I mean surely the radio add date and the gigs and stuff were 100% their management's job? Although can we also blame their management? They barely did nothing (I'm doing nothing cuz then at least im doin nothing wrong :kink:  ), most of the promo was all from the E! network. :/

I'm sure if they had the choice they would rather go on a two weeks holiday! The radio add date should have been before Chasing The Saturdays started and before Jay Leno. I think the E! Network saved them, it's still not been axed yet what is decent news!
April 26, 201312 yr I think expectations on this forum have been unrealistically high. I said from the start that they wouldn't get to 400k. Let's just be happy it got to #1 and had a decent top 10 run.
April 26, 201312 yr Author Their eventually in dark green, thankful for the weekend effect. Should hopefully be up to 20 soon!

Jay Leno & Today Show which are both on NBC (affliliated with E!) and Wendy Williams again they flew back to promote the show right before it was ending. The only difference is that they were a musical guest in addition to the interview.
April 26, 201312 yr But they will reach 400K. If Forever Is Over could exit with 145K and add an additional 35K (update for 2011) then there's no doubt this won't.
April 28, 201312 yr Author What About Us #7 Barbados #18 Ireland #25 United Kingdom ( :( ) #37 Austria (Wow at how fast this is climbing) #45 Jordan #48 New Zealand #61 Germany (Dropping 30places within two days) #100 Saudi Arabia #106 Bahrain #114 Latvia #118 United Arab Emirates #131 Switzerland #196 United Kingdom #201 Cyprus #204 Denmark #277 Oman #305 Lebanon #359 Mauritius #373 Australia Issues is not even top 400 on Irish iTunes, talking about having no effect.
April 30, 201312 yr Author I'm surprised it's only #18 in Ireland, they performed What About Us acoustic on their biggest radio station today also. Down to #26 on UK iTunes!
April 30, 201312 yr It's going to overtake Rogues soon but they've both been switching position quite frequently today. Hope Iris plummets once it leaves the top 10 so it doesn't get in the way but I guess considering we're nearing the end of Tuesday they probably will.
April 30, 201312 yr Author The best result I think the girls can hope for come Sunday is #22 which is much better than #26! #23 on iTunes which is decent, hopefully it manages to remain stable at #22 for the remainder of the week.
April 30, 201312 yr On track to become biggest seller of their career!! :D plus you can include sales from all markets to this single. They've probably already cleared 300k altogether :)
May 1, 201312 yr id imagine they have sold around 30,000 in the US by now! its a HUGE market so even if sales are lower... gotta say, since ive been here only gay people know who the sats are. when i ask straight people they are like what is the saturdays? they have no clue!

May 1, 201312 yr thats more than MHTO :o if WAU does peak anywhere else and get a decent run it could become their first 1m seller! but I guess it depends on whether they come back here..
