It's no What About Us or Not Giving Up On Love, but it should do the trick.

They all sound good on it bar Frankie.

After paying close attention I've realized that Frankie actually has a lot of vocals, especially at the end of the song. Her nasally "so 1999" isn't great but she sounds good otherwise.

Mollie's vocals are good minus the way she sings "cow." Horrendous.

Una is probably the most prominent in this song and she does most of the ad libs. I feel like she always gets the unique parts. I love the fact that she gets stuck with the old guys. Too perfect.

I notice that Rochelle always gets the most provocative lyrics, "I let you taste my rainbow" being an example :P I NEED A DRAKE! I NEED A LUDACRIS!

Vanessa pulls off rapping the best, they should've left all of that to her to be honest.

 ... "Lots of vocals" is a bit of stretch, no? She has that line during the first chorus and that "faithful" line + "holler at me" line, but at the first listen, I thought she didn't have a single verse. Glad she does, though. It's ridiculous when one member doesn't get to sing. Although, once again, she seems to be the one with the least amount of vocals. Fair enough, it might for the best with her pregnancy and the way she feels about her voice (lack of confidence, etc).

The track is all about Vanessa (that rap, guuurl), Rochelle (taste my rainbow hoe) and Mollie (coooow) for me. I mean, Una sounds good, yes, but I don't know...

Frankie lines.

"A gentelemen's so 1999 so hard for a girl to find, uh" (Opening chorus)

"You could at least be faithful" (it is her solo section of that chorus, It's propped up by lots of her backing vocals)

Then the entire section just after the rap and before the "GO 90s" outro.

"1999, so 1999" during the outro.

Just putting it out there.

Vanessa: A gentleman is so 1995, so hard for a girl to find

Mollie: A real husband so 1999, so hard for a girl to find, what?

Rochelle: Cause most dudes just hit it and quit it

Then they wonder why most girls just spit it

Frankie: A gentleman is so 1995, so hard for a girl to find, uh!

Una: You're not a lady if you're always on your knees

Shouldn't have to beg a gentleman, so please be gentle, please

Oh, you're beautiful

Oh, I hope you know

Rochelle: He over compensates by buying you fancy cars

Just to cover up the fact that he stays out all night in bars

Oh, if you can't see

Then maybe he's not meant to be

Vanessa: A gentleman is so 1995, so hard for a girl to find

Mollie: A real husband so 1999, so hard for a girl to find, what?

Rochelle: Cause most dudes just hit it and quit it

Then they wonder why most girls just spit it

All of them : A gentleman is so 1995, so hard for a girl to find, uh!

Mollie: You had his baby, so you might got him for now

He already had the milk, so why would he go buy the cow?

Una: I love him, your chance is thin

Especially when I'm lying next to him

Vanessa: I wouldn't marry him, no, not if I were you

Cause if he's been cheating on me, then he'll probably cheat on you

Una: You love him, your chance is thin

Especially when he's lying next to them

Vanessa: A gentleman is so 1995, so hard for a girl to find

Mollie: A real husband so 1999, so hard for a girl to find, what?

Rochelle: Cause most dudes just hit it and quit it

Then they wonder why most girls just spit it

All of them : A gentleman is so 1995, so hard for a girl to find, uh

Vanessa: Don't get me wrong, I know that

Mollie: Most girls ain't perfect angels

Rochelle: I let you taste my rainbow

Frankie: You could at least be faithful

Una: A gentleman

With a 9 to 5

A real husband

So 1999

Rochelle: A gentleman

With a 9 to 5

A real husband

So 1999

Vanessa: A gentleman is so 1995, so hard for a girl to find

Mollie: A real husband so 1999, so hard for a girl to find, what?

Rochelle: Cause most dudes just hit it and quit it

Then they wonder why most girls just spit it

All of them: A gentleman is so 1995, so hard for a girl to find, uh

Vanessa: I need a Ryan Gosling, I need a Robert Pattinson

Somebody I can take to Mama, I need to find my Obama

I need a Jonas Brother and, how about a Denzel Washington?

I need a Kellan Lutz, and a Channing Tatum, throw 'em my way, I'll date 'em

Rochelle: I need a Drake, I need a Ludacris, I need a Weezy, I don't care who he is

Heard 'em say I need a Kanye, he ain't a gentleman, but I'll have him anyway

Una: George Clooney, Lamar Odom, Larry King, I like 'em older

Frankie: All the gentlemen from around the world, holler at me, let me be your girl

Una: Gentleman, 1995, real husband,

Frankie: So 1999

Una: Gentleman, 1995, real husband,

Una/Frankie: 1999

All of them : Go go 90s, go go 90s!

Go, go, go, go 90s!

Go go 90s, go go 90s!

Una: So 1999!

Frankie: 1999

Una: Hey...

Frankie: 1999

Una/Frankie: So 1999!

I really don't like how Frankie pronounce "So 1999" (which is basically 5/8 of her vocals on the song). It's the perfect example of how her voice can be so whiny sometimes. :(

I think I prefer how Rochelle raps to Vanessa. I don't know. She sounds like she's having more fun than Vanessa.

First off, we often hear people say "oh another generic track." So the Sats then release something different & edgy & we say it wont be as successful as the track we categorized as GENERIC (30 Days, What About Us.) Lol We are impossible to please.

As for my opinion, I can't believe this was the best song they could release as a second single. They always knock it out of the park with the second single (Higher, All Fired Up) & I'm not certain that they have with this. Still too early to tell.

Frankie isn't only on the opening chorus. She has the last line on all of them, her voice is just layered. Mostly everything after 2:56 is her as well.

She is. 2ndAdventure who actually heard a good acapella of the track and not some LQ leak said it was Vanessa with multiple layers. One of them is most likely Frankie, yes, but all the girls have one I'm pretty sure. Which means it's not Frankie.

And she only does the "so 1999" after the 2:56 mark. It's actually more a Una part + "Go 90s!" part than a Frankie part itself.

After an afternoon listening to this, it's climbed to be up there with All Fired Up as my favourite single of them. Brilliant, simply brilliant.

And Una (and Frankie) makes the song for me.

Go nineties!!

I've listened 12 times today and I f***ING LOVE IT!

It's different, the lq productions is probably because its like a flat recording, not a HD version.

GO 90s!

The song debuted at Capital Fm & Radio1 at exactly 7.45.

The song in HQ is so much better

EP is also on iTunes, it contains Alias radio edit, Signature back to the 90's edit, 2nd Adventure radio edit (Congrats) and pre-order only Wildfire.

Much better in HQ. :) Just wish the chorus was more powerful and the beat could be heard more.

Sounds amazing - and better - on radio too. Definitely a radio track.

Not sure how well it'll do though. Reaction seems 50/50.... I think it's too polarising a track for their second #1. Hopefully it'll net them a top 10 peak at least? They have enough of a core fanbase for that.

Sorry but even the lyric video is awful! Even in HD I can't read half of it, haha.

I'd probably give the song a 5/10 at this point... I just hope the B side is better :/

I love the last minute and a half. Easily the best part of the song. I think I'll be tired of it by the time it's released though :/

In the video they are meant to have lookalikes, I cant just see the girls dressed up as men in it...
