I remember someone saying that its performance in Ireland is a good indication on where it'll peak here, they said...

Well it's at number 29 on Irish iTunes and dropping so... I'm not taking that to be a very good sign. By this point I don't even care about is chart run, this would be ideal for me...

and maybe it could scrape 100,000 sales in the long run.

I would much rather them peak at #10 and have longevity than peak at #6 and sink like a rock. But that's just me...

 

How great would it be if this shot to #1 on iTunes? There's no way, but as WAU showed us, you never know! I wonder if their lackluster pre-orders are partly due to the fact that you can't sample the song on iTunes yet. I'm pretty sure when WAU was available for pre-order you could at least listen to the clip.

I hope it shocks us :D after being number 1 in the UK previously with EAU, I reckon their sales will be a bit higher than what we'd expect, assuming Irish iTunes is any indication. hopefully anyway.

It's only been out 12 hours! People are so quick to write something off either way. It's pretty much making the same progress as 30 Days on iTunes. Grow up.

I don't think it's going to flop at all, it took 30 Days until 5pm to break the Top Ten, Gentleman is already at #15.

30 days is such a great song, I listen now and think wow this should have done so much more

I have to avoid iTunes because of 'OMG JOHN NEWMAN IS SO AMAZE!!!!!1!!!1 FLOPTURDAYS R OVER LOL I'M SO FUNNEH' and now this because of pessimism :lol: To be honest this was a risky single as it isn't the tried and tested dance-pop or even a ballad, so to be honest I'll be happy with top 10 rven if it's just #9 or #10. People need to relax a bit, 30 Days only made the lower top 10, they were fine. My Heart Takes Over missed the top 10, they were fine.
