My main problem with the song is still the chorus, though. It would sound so much better if it was the group leading it (like the Chasing The Saturdays clip suggested) instead of just Vanessa/Mollie. :(

Rochelle has a line in the chorus too!

The last line of the chorus is all of them though, except for the first chorus where Frankie delivers the line by herself. I think it sounds better individually, actually. The thing with the chorus is that it doesn't go really high, it's pretty low. It reminds me a lot of Notorious in the way.

For the first chorus it's obviously just Frankie, but for the remaining choruses It's not all of them singing the last line. It sounds to be Frankie and Vanessa only. I agree it sounds better individually though, and they should've let Frankie take that part by herself throughout the song.

It really needs to enter the top 100 on Airplay next eek (Radio) The only capital FM that is hyping up Gentleman is James Barr, hopefully they video manages to rocket them up the iTunes pre-order chart, because Icona Pop has number one in the bag, I would be delighted with 200,000 sales and another top 5 single.
The video is directed by Trudy Bellinger, who directed Forever Is Over as well as The Promise, The Loving Kind, Sexy! No No No and The Show for Girls Aloud.
They've never really hired higher profile directors have they? Well guess it saves money which can be used elsewhere.
Appearently they used the body doubles for the scenes where they both played the man and woman, or did y'all already know that?

New sneak peak

its as if Frankies all "Mollie what you doing"

and Mollie is all "My Washing, duh!"

I hope this video has some talking in it, like them acting it would be hysterical! :D

They all sing in the chorus.

I have heard every part of the vocals.

There's a recording with all of them singing, and then all recorded individually. They all get a 'solo' line in the chorus apart from Una. All 5 of them are in the chorus though.

Thank you 2ndAdventure! :cheer: You should come here more often, we miss you!

Hm, that's interesting. Maybe Frankie and Vanessa's voices are easier to pick out in the last line then. I listened really closely and couldn't hear Mollie, Una, or Rochelle.

I don't hear Frankie a lot. I know her backing vocal is in there, but once you put all the girls vocals on it, she disappears.

It's funny how everyone hears things differently.

Anywho, am I the only one who's bummed that Mollie didn't get a rapping verse in this song? It's like the most epic musical moment that never was.

And we all know how good she is at rapping. GHETTO PRINCESS IN DA HOUSE. :kink:

Although fair enough there's plenty of backing vocals in the song, especially in the rap part, so I wouldn't be surprised if Mollie does them... but you know it's The Saturdays, the backing track will do the trick I suppose.

When will your fave be as fab as her? Never.

I'd imagine that was Peter's reaction to hearing about her pregnancy.

But in all seriousness I'm so stoked!!

I LOVE the look of this video. So much personality (which as everyone knows, is all I've wanted in a Sats video :lol) and is bound to get tons of rotation and people talking.

Still not top 100 on Radio Airplay, I would have though with Capital playlisting Gentleman it would certainly go top 100 this week, What About Us at this time had entered the top 100 and was top 10 on TV airplay.

I think this will have a ' 30 Days ' chart run as the song is nowhere near as infectious as 'What About Us'. I'm predicting around 120,000 for Gentleman. I'm hoping they announce tour dates before they promote 'Gentleman' and allow people to pre-order the album on iTunes.
