They should have swapped Gentleman & Wildfire around.. F*** me it's amazing

WHAT THE F*CK!!!!

They had a gem like 'Wildfire' and released Gentleman instead!

OMG..I've had it now, I'm no longer a fan they make poor decisions every single time!

I honestly hated it on first listen but quite liked it the second time but to be honest the sound is so generic and like most of On Your Radar, lacks any identity. If this was a single, any other artist could have released this. But I admire how well its written etc; the girls really are great song writers. :)

I think my favorite B-side remains Not That Kinda Girl. :) Followed closely by Turn Myself In (eventhough I just consider that an album reject).

You're right it's very generic, I can imagine it being sung by Taio Cruz or Britney and let's face it, all of Taio's hits define generic.

'Wildfire' is fantastic, I much prefer it to 'Gentleman'! This B-side may have just persuaded me to download the Gentleman EP when it is released, as I wasn't going to before.
I love Wildfire! It sounds like a Move On U part 2! My only criticism is that I don't like the fact some of their songs seem to mention 'Turn Me On' which makes me laugh
I always find it hilarious when people call a Saturdays song 'generic', like REALLY?
Exactly! I love them, but lets call a spade a spade.. They are a generic girlband!

Comparing a song like Wildfire to Higher, the former is more generic because at least with Higher you could identify it as being a Saturdays song. The Chasing Lights album wasn't even a generic album; they had carved they're own small niche with the sound it had, for a girl band anyway.

I like it. But I don't think it should've been released as a single. As much as I don't like Gentleman as a second single, It's different & I appreciate the sound. They've never released anything like this before.

As much as the "go nineties" chant at the end reeks of pure desperation to jump on the 90s trend, I do think 'Gentleman' is their best single to date - and this is coming from someone who has never given a **** about them (bar 'Work'). Maybe it is a cynical attempt to shift with the music scene to more Urban 90s R&B but I'll let that slide for a moment. It's a good attempt nonetheless. Far better than WAU and I have no idea why many of you thought it would be a bad choice for second single. It's got more character, personality and dimension to it than the likes of 'Up', 'Ego', 'Higher' and 'All Fired Up'. The middle-8 part is brilliant and gives it more of an edge.

I can see this having a similar run to 'DNA' by Little Mix (and no not just because it is a girlband's second single). It doesn't seem like it'll spend more than 8 weeks top 40 (WAU only managed 10 or 11) but I think it'll be another top 5 for them.

Wildfire is everything I hoped it would be! Hottest b-side without a doubt. I just wish they would've utilized Frankie and Mollie more. It's not like they'll ever be performing this song live as it's a b-side so why couldn't they give them more of a presence? I'm getting a bit tired of Rochelle and Vanessa getting lead every time, especially because their voices are incredibly similar. Una's barely present either but she's all over Gentleman so I'm not concerned with it.
I always love their B sides xD

I have noticed Mollie and Una are gaining more in songs, eg 30 Days, WAU and Gentleman. But I do agree that Rochelle and Vanessa get too many leads. That is why I love Get Ready Get Set and Wish I Didn't Know because they sound like Moluna songs

That b-side is EVERYTHING. They all sound freaking amazing, first. Their voice aren't raw, but there's no autotune or anything. It sounds really good, just because of that.

Mollie's voice sounds really sexy.

For the people who complains about the Rochessa lead... You do realize Una is all over the chorus with these two? I would Una is as much on this track as these two others, more or so.

Obviously, Mollie and Frankie have a bit less, but their verses are nice and their ad-libs are sexy and they got the perfect tones for these.

I WANT A FRANKIE DOMINATED SONG.

Love 2am with a passion; Frankie sounds amazing on it.

Gentleman is up to #68 on rolling airplay.

Btw Hurricane I love Vanessa's facial expression in your sig.
