April 3, 201312 yr 'Stan' and 'Umbrella' are definitely the highlights of this section. I don't actually mind 'Low' tbh, it'd be nowhere near my top 100 though. 'Earthquake' is great too.

I prefer to see it as a song about the realities of urban life, which is what makes it so genius for me. And the fact that it's an absolute tune. We then get into Lego House, which actually helped me get through one of my depressive periods, so I will be eternally grateful for that song forever. D.A.N.C.E. then comes up, which is an amazing song and I will not have a word said against it. It physically pains me to put Scandalous so low, it's flawless in every single way but there are other qualities of songs that make me like them more, which is why it's so low. Infinity Guitars is utterly electrifying and incredible, it's one of the songs that made me interested in music that wasn't part of the mainstream. When You're Gone is so beautiful and it gives me a lot of emotional memories as well. And we close the section with They Don't Care About Us, which I first heard when I was obsessed with Michael Jackson after his death. It's slowly emerged as a all-time favourite for me though because of its thought-provoking message. Michael Jackson has one more song to come in this countdown.

April 4, 201312 yr 81 Florence + The Machine - Dog Days Are Over 82 Noah And The Whale - L.I.F.E.G.O.E.S.O.N. 83 Birdy - Skinny Love 84 Alicia Keys - If I Ain't Got You 85 Robyn feat Kleerup - With Every Heartbeat Here we go again, With Every Heartbeat is up next. It's definitely grown on me over the years to the point where I can call it one of my favourites now. If I Ain't Got You is up next, it's a lovely song with a beautiful message that I admire. The superior version of Skinny Love (YES I JUST WENT THERE) is up next, it's so beautifully fragile that it's hard not to resist. L.I.F.E.G.O.E.S.O.N. is one of the many songs that defined the start of 2011 of me and there will be more songs from this time period that will come up later. And finally, we close this section with Dog Days Are Over, which is the song that made me into a fan of Florence and is so beautifully expressive that no one would ever be able to resist it.
