Weeds was kept going longer than was ideal by Showtime because it was a big hit for them. The big hits are also a major pull for subscribers. I imagine they'd also take into account International success as that's gotta be a money spinner for them.

I think both networks need another big hitter though, True Blood must be finishing in a couple of seasons and by all accounts this is going to be the last season of Dexter.

Most likely! Showtime have been lucky with Homeland. I got the pilot free on iTunes the other day so I can finally get round to watching it.

I watched this for the first time on the train the other day, the pilot was free on iTunes last week, and my god it's brilliant!

 

The Cleveland Show is *allegedly* cancelled.

Not surprising in the slightest given the lead time required for animation meant it would have been renewed quite a few months ago to make it to anywhere on the 13/14 schedule.

Grimm is moving to Tuesday's from April 30th, for the rest of the season. I'm sure it will rate higher than on Friday and definitely higher than Ready For Love, but I get the feeling it's solidified itself on Friday now so in the long term would be better off staying there.

I'd imagine it'll be Friday bound for S6. Bones may be lower rated but it earns too much ad money for a Friday slot.
