December 19, 201311 yr I think they'll still make the top 40 EOY. The X Factor winner, who was a previous threat, is under-selling and will struggle to even sell 250k before the year is out. Edited December 19, 201311 yr by joepassmore
December 19, 201311 yr I'm positive as well, they should be crossing it sooner , and get the GOLD ! Though the song is amazing, they are unfortunately not able to nail it live, except in acoustic sessions & can say on Alan Carr, when Sean paul joined them... Edited December 19, 201311 yr by holler
December 19, 201311 yr It would be nice for them to say they did though, and it means extra R1 airplay = more chances of finally getting 400k Whats the criteria for the BRIT nomination, do you know? You've gotta be a british act and you song must have sold loads. As for the nominations, it depends. Sometimes, they will take the 10 best selling songs of the year, sometimes the 15. If they actually do take 15 songs, The Saturdays are guaranteed a nomination. Indeed, the song being the 12th best british selling single makes it possible. I know some people have been a little bit unsure, but I do believe they won't drop any further than 15th in the next three weeks. That being said, they could go with the 10 best selling songs and The Saturdays would miss out the nominations no matter what.
December 19, 201311 yr They either go for the Top 15 best sell it singles of the year or the top ten most successful singles based on sales, streams and airplay. If it's the first, they're the 12th best selling single by a British act so they're guaranteed a place. If it's latter, then they are the British act with the third best TV airplay and they're radio airplay is high too. What About Us has also been views 23,000,000 times in total so they're pretty much certain to get nominated if it's the latter also. Rest assured, The Saturdays have a Brit's 2014 nomination. Now it's all down to whether or not they win, we can hope.
December 19, 201311 yr Even if they don't win, its good publicity to actually remind the public The Saturdays do exist and are still around making music. (ofc, I want them to win but y'know!)

December 19, 201311 yr It'll ale them that much cooler too getting a nom :D Depends on the other nominations!
December 19, 201311 yr Considering 1D will be nominated and that their rabid fans will vote for them 120 times every minute (somehow, they will manage that, yes), I doubt the girls have any chance to win.
December 19, 201311 yr Considering 1D will be nominated and that their rabid fans will vote for them 120 times every minute (somehow, they will manage that, yes), I doubt the girls have any chance to win. My point exactly, same with Little Mix, Justin Bieber and other artists in the extreme fandom camp.
December 19, 201311 yr They'd never win but i'd be so proud of them if they did get a nomination considering they never really get nominated for awards and the Brits are pretty massive. Should also guarantee more sales of the song, too.
December 21, 201311 yr I have this gut feeling they'll be snubbed. Duh. Oh wait, you mean for the nominations? Oh I don't think so...well I hope not! Edited December 21, 201311 yr by Hurricane
December 21, 201311 yr If they miss out on a British Single nomination, it's only cause it didn't sell enough to be in the top 15 British singles of the year or so. It's the only one they stand a chance of being nominated for IMO.
