Well it's already back to #14 on iTunes and is starting to close the gap on #13 so we could be looking at six weeks in the top 15.

I don't know what people were expecting with this song. Eight weeks in the top three? Like i said before, they're a group. Groups never have huge top ten chart runs. They're always frontloaded. Sales are more important and this is on track to sell about 400k. Who cares if it falls out of the top 20 in it's seventh week when it's the fastest selling song of the year, has sold over 250K so far and has revived their airplay and public interest?

I have to agree, the chartrun could've been better, especially since they're doing absolutely nothing right now and taking the usual Saturdays Holiday off after every release.

StooShe were still performing Black Heart a month after it got released, which (partly) made it repeak at #3

Their chart run is not amazing, but it's not shit either. There's just more in the song than The Sats are doing right now

#03 on TV airplay and #06 on RadioAirplay.

What About Us is also Capitals #01 on the airplay!

12 Macklemore & Ryan Lewis/Ray Dalton 22,926

No Sales for #13. I'm expecting around 21,000 - 22,000 which I believe will bring its sales to 275,000. It should pass 20,000 next week as #17 managed to get 19,000 sales.

Thanks for the info!

Airplay support has been astounding. Yes they've only peaked at #5, but with longevity like this it seems as though radio will be much more likely to support them throughout this whole era.

16 - 16 - 276,000 - Saturdays - What About Us

16th and holding up well on the year end chart :D only a small gap from #12 now :D

This can't really be compared to Black Heart. That was released at 59p and had low airplay when released, but the fact it went top 10 then meant that airplay started to build, and that's why it hung around for ages. What About Us had amazing airplay beforehand (much better than any Saturdays single for a while) so it peaked higher but is therefore dropping quicker. It's no bad thing, you just can't really compare them!

I was just using them as an example of still promoting the single even after a month, not just in release week

Not to mention that they have kinda bombed after that single
The Saturdays could be huge!! :o
There's a reason why The Saturdays are still around. Little Mix are barely as recognised as the sats are. Stooshe, Parade, Girls can't catch, Mini Viva have a fluke best-selling song and then bomb with their albums and singles after. The Saturdays arn't young as other girl bands out there, which give them a much more mature look, that many women and mothers aspire to (Una and Rochelle). All girl band pass and go whilst the sats stay there in their comfort zone. Thats why theyve been around for so long. Stooshe will most likely split up after their album's out if it bombs and so will literrally all other Girl Bands. But The saturdays are so determined, great friends and hard-working. Theyve been in the industry long enough to know that not many girl band members make it successful out there, and thats why they havent gone their own ways yet. After OYR and WS, other girl bands wouldve flew off and scattered into dust. But the sats stay together and im proud that WBU has finally paid off their efforts.
I agree! :)

I agree! Love them.

I'm glad to see it back on #14. Not falling! You go girls! :cheer:

15. The Saturdays - What About Us (Combined #16)

195. The Saturdays Feat Sean Paul - What About Us

I'm not sure, but it looks like the now version of what about us dropped out the Irish iTunes charts. Either that or I cant find it. I had it at 354 at 9 this morning.

I'm going to Germany in a week and a half. Does anybody knows which radio station plays The Saturdays alot? I'm going to have to take a listen at it

I'm hoping we come across a record store as I might pick up What About Us in physical form then

12. Psy - Gentleman 11.7%

13. Justin Timberlake - Mirrors 11.7%

14. The Saturdays Feat Sean Paul - What About Us 10.4%

15. Iggy Azalea - Work 10%

16. Bruno Mars - When I Was Your Man 9.9%

17. Imagine Dragons - Radioactive 9.2% + 3.5% = 12.7%

Combined 15th, which is actually quite good. It seems to climb more during the day and they seem to be reducing the gap on Justin Timberlake and PSY.
