a comment on youtube says that this has been certified gold? Is that true?

I don't think it's sold quite that much just yet. Someone correct me if I'm wrong!

I don't think a song needs to sell completely 400,000 to get a gold as the company can just pay to have it. Although I may be I about albums :P

No it has to pass 400,000 sales to be eligible for certification. 16,000 more sales would help.

I'm just praying they perform it on TOTP to give it a boost during gift card week which follows. They could possibly pass 400,000 by the end of January then.

What about us has been added to the 59p featured section on iTunes! Would have preferred Disco Love but this is still good!

Well finally!

I'm delighted ' What About Us ' has managed to make the 59p section. I doubt the section will change until after Christmas which means I'm sure ' What About Us ' will manage to pass 10,000 sales next week. I'm hoping that it somehow manages to scrape EOY Top 40 which is very possible if it manages to reach the top 200 this week.

It will make crazy sales on gift card week too, right?

Guys lets stay grounded, although the prospect of 10k sales is so insaitable!!!

if they just place ad on itunes and social media...instead of paying for heavy promos...would that help sales?

It would be nice for them to say they did though, and it means extra R1 airplay = more chances of finally getting 400k
