Woo that's quite something for a 9 month old song!! Is this the longest a track has hovered on itunes for the sats?

Most likely. Need U has one version around #500 on itunes where as the sats have two versions top 400

Ok never mind, this is just a random chart

*edit*

36 or 35 on the Big Top 40 Biggest Hits of the year chart , I didn't catch the number but around about there

:)

Any idea where this charted in the end? / How much it sold.

I think we're still waiting to find out.
Missed the top 100. Not a shock but annoying that the likes of 'Lost Generation' and 'Juliet' re-entered and The Sats never.
I'll be elated with Top 150 and 4,000 sales.

Anyone know sales or chart position this week?

Not yet, but I think it is #37 in the End of year chart.
this only showed us it wasn't big hit

not even top 100?

It is in the top 40 end of year chart.

Does anyone know what number it is at with the end of year British singles and will it qualify to be nominated for a Brit?

This only shows how little you know about how the music business works 0_o

so how come other hits all re-entered the chart?

I don't know how official this is, but yesterday, one of the MTV music channels were playing the top 40 "biggest hits" of 2013. What About Us was something like 35 or 37.

It was quite a bit older than most of the songs that re-entered.

It'll still be somewhere within the highest 40 selling songs of 2013 - which OCC are announcing tomorrow.

so how come other hits all re-entered the chart?

Well for one not every song can reenter! And also, not that many songs from Q1 and Q2 did rebound, LFTW had a massive increase, DL and WAU both climbed throughout the week too, so they did very well.

so how come other hits all re-entered the chart?

Not going to waste my breath as its now been explained but you can see Living For The weekend was their most recent release and so it climbed the most whereas WBU is such an old song, most people would've gotten it by now if they wanted it
