I think It's at 253,905; addition error on the Sales thread - hopefully another 25K this week. With regards to Amelia Lilly; I sense her single will do quite poorly, if anything miss the top 10 a la the previous single.

I think this is a certain top 10, the airplay has been much better and the sales of shut up (give me whatever you got) would have got her top 10... especially with the top 10 effect. I wouldn't mind a chart run of [01-03-04-08-10-11]. I guess we will see how much it starts dropping now that Radio1 have dropped it from their playlist.

Remains at #05 on the radio airplay chart! This should be their biggest radio hit to date, I doubt it will start freefalling down the radio airplay as it actually reached number one.

Currently the 16th biggest selling single of 2013, hopefully it manages to climb towards the top 10! They've never been involved in the top 40 biggest selling singles of the year. It would be incredible if What About Us was around 25-30.

Failed to chart in the top 40 in New Zealand, it must have been close.

It's nice to see the general public still showing an interest in this song :)

This will not happen. I'm thinking maybe #35 at best.

Haha at your signature :P But its possible to do that next week if it doesnt do a saturdays and drop to #36 next week :P

.

I take it this hasn't been a Saturdays track all along then :P

It will be between us and Calvin Harris for the #10 this week. I can see Calvin overtaking to be honest. Hopefully if we cling onto #10 on iTunes, combining both versions will keep us just ahead.

To be #30 in last years end of charts you needed to sell 443,000. I think it's achievable for What About Us, it all depends on how long it hangs around the chart. it should receive a boost when Gentleman is released and when their new album is released.

I'm just delighted it's going to outsell Wings, who would have thought!

Is Justin 'stable' or is he dropping? Any slim chance of them maybe overtaking him to give them some room and allow Calvin to come in?

A member on Ukmix has info on the German charts (he has been posting the charts for a moment, like, he's not a fan of the girls. It is legit and accurate). The official top 100 hasn't been posted yet (it will be on Thursday, I think. As it has been said previously, it's always a week late), but he usually has some information on the charts even before the whole top 100 is up. This is what he has posted :

Singles Chart Update

02 (05) Pink feat. Nate Ruess

03 (06) Macklemore, Ryan Lewis, Ray Dalton

07 (15) Wax

10 (23) The Lumineers

11 (22) will.i.am feat. Justin Bieber

12 (39) Imagine Dragons

18 (new) Maxim

22 (27) Calvin Harris feat. Ellie Goulding

23 (26) Bruno Mars

24 (new) Capital Cities

32 (35) Nelly

40 (new) Daniele Negroni

44 (new) The Saturdays feat. Sean Paul

55 (new) Chvrches

84 (99) Justin Bieber feat. Ludacris

#44 is a fantastic start in Germany! I'm surprised, I expected it to be around #50-60. Hopefully they return to Germany to promote instead of hoping Chasing The Saturdays does well for them.

German charts work on gross revenue, so iTunes doesn't always tell you where an artist will chart. A song with a reduced price being #5 on iTunes all week could actually end up outside the top 10 on the official charts. That is obviously if the tracks in the top 10 aren't reduced too. It's a very complicated thing.

Plus, it's one of the few markets where other musicstores like Amazon and all these german online musicstores (there are quite a few of them actually) can make a big difference unlike in the UK.

So yeah, it's kinda "unpredictable" unless you know the German charts quite well. ^^

#44 is amazing!! Wings never charted there.

I think this should chart in New Zealand in the next couple weeks and Austria could also be possible if it rises a bit more. I just don't know when they plan on doing more promo because this is not going to be an international smash off good luck alone.

Dropped to 1.4% behind Justin Timberlake now, hopefully it somehow manages to overtake Mirrors tomorrow as Calvin Harris should go top 10. Azealia Banks & Nu Will.i.am & Miley Cyrus are being released tomorrow!
