I think we're destined for #11 this week, which although great, I'd love for us to leave at #10 and pass Issues as longest running top 10. :)

#11 is still good :D If they've got enough lead over Calvin, they might still be able to fend him off though.

66 64 SATURDAYS What About Us 174 159 +15

US airplay update.

(last weeks position, this weeks position, this weeks spins, last weeks spins, spins increase I'm assuming?)

Is that good?
Is that good?

It's climbing really slowly. It's still increasing with every update (even though it's a tiny amount) so it's obviously not bad, but it's clearly going to need major promotion for radio to play it quicker.

EDIT - it's on a ton of Mediabase sites to request on US radio, it only takes two seconds to vote for the girls.

for example

:o it wasn't on all those playlists last week

Yeah, they really should be promoting in the US, I still think if they spent the next 80 days promoting What About Us in Europe/America it could still be a massive hit. Rochelle would be able to do promotion for Gentleman premiering on radio stations.

Is there a gentleman thread yet?

.

Here is my opinion :)

.

Am I the only person thats slightly worried about this being the riskiest track they've released yet? Right at the moment it seems like the most stupid idea they've had. Just had a number 1, on top of their game, about to drop an album and they change their sound right before it. It's an easy way to alienate fans. Wordshaker calling!! I'm not saying its going to be a disaster but I think trying something different has already proved to be a fail for them before.

.

I dont wanna seem like an arse, and I hope I'm wrong.

Thanks Griff
Combined its dropped to 12 on iTunes. Macklemore will climb above them tonight! They should remain at 11 this week, hopefully get another 3-4 weeks top 20!
Thanks Griff

No worries! :D

#11 in the midweeks.
This is going to sound geeky but can someone put their charting in Germany on their official discography page?

.

Someone's done it ha!

#12 iTunes. Combined #13.

My Prediction [01-03-04-08-11-16-19-25-32-35-38]

I really hope it somehow manages to sell 400,000. Hopefully once the song starts to freefall down the chart they reduce the price (79p even) to keep it stable, it would be incredible if it was still top 100 the charts the same time as Gentleman. It's depressing to see it drop week after week!

It's there on the song's discography page but not the actual discography page of the girls.

I'm still hanging on every kworb update. I wish it would just stall!!! Even better, I wish it was summer already!!! The song would probably have a longer chart run in the summer.

What's the longest top 40 chart run they have?

I think Up had something like 20 weeks in the top 40. It went 5 - 6 - 7 and then it dropped slowly out of the top 40 then returned for another six or seven weeks.

Mediabase is the place to be to request The Sats. But I do agree they are going to have to do a major radio tour to increase the spins.

15 on the Irish charts this week.
