I've also thought about another spin-off that consists only of vs. tracks such as mashups which may be interesting.

Just to confirm that Spin-Offs//ReLOADED is coming shortly! Once we finalise Martin's replacement (And it is a seriously close race) then we'll start the process of getting everything set up.

I was just wondering now that we are at the end of the 2013 contests whether the spin-offs forum will still be going ahead?

Spin-offs will be built into the calendar when we get around to organising the schedule for next year.
