When was *that* ever a guarantee? :)

Most songs that are played everywhere are guaranteed Top 10 hits these days. It's not like five or ten years ago where the airplay #1 could chart at #18!

And on a different note

For some reason I was expecting to see Rudimental top 10 already as sales last week were looking set to be fairly low compared to most weeks. I'm sure 'Waiting All Night' will be top 10 within the next hour.

Pleasing to see Will.I.Am. down at no. 44, it'll end up top 10 at some point anyways but please not a UK chart topper.

I'd like will.i.am to not be #1 simply because I don't want Justin Bieber to have a UK #1 to his name. But I do like #thatPOWER, hopefully a top 3 debut.
#thatpower is terrible, really hope it doesn't go #1 but it's bound to at least go top 5... Didn't know Jessie Ware was out though! Hope she peaks top 40 at least, brilliant song and very 90s which is of course on trend now.

NotSensibles Down To no 11

Rudimental Up To No 9

Will.i.am up to no 33

That will.i.am song really is awful. Don't know what else I was expecting from him but seriously, people are actually buying this? It's like Scream & Shout all over again <_<

You just knew I'm going to look for counter-examples... :)

e.g. Caro Emerald - Tangled Up : #11 airplay, #115 on sales (probably higher on both, this week).

That's an entirely different case though as she's only high because she's played on stations like Radio 2 where airplay equates to albums rater than singles. She hasn't been playlisted by the radios that affect single sales such as Radio 1 and Capital. Griff was meaning that 'Easy' had been played lots of times by Radio 1 which has a major influence on the singles chart.

I love to see Calvin Harris/Ellie at #1 the following week, followed by Chris Malinchak, that's 4 dance tracks at #1 on a trot, hopefully Rudimental get the #1 :o :D looks like dance music back on form.
Pitbull  #2 :drama:

That was bound to happen, it get pushed down pretty soon, Rudimental #4 now. :D
