New single from Eric will be released in Sweden on April 24th. The album 'Forgive Me' will follow after, no release date for that yet.

I hope it's better than Marching/Miss Unknown, though the guitar in the artwork doesn't fill me with hope for Popular Part II!

Marching was AMAZING, Miss Unknown decidedly less so. He's yet to come out with an album that's less than decent so I will be expecting quite a lot from this. I don't expect a new Popular, he's made it quite clear he doesn't want to go with that sound but the guitar on the cover gives me hope for some slightly more melodic stuff.
I think the artwork screams more "grr I'm a rockstar" to me! Not that that direction is really any better than "look I can be a bland guy with a guitar too!".
The whole Marching/Missing You thing entirely passed me by. Was that from Saade Vol 2 or just random singles? (If so is he taking hints from Tone Damli who throws a single out randomly then 9months later throws out the album with it on.)
They were both for the album 'Eric Saade Deluxe' released in Norway late last year which combined parts of Saade Vol. 1 + 2. I guess trying to capitalise on the success of Imagine.
I see! Most likely, Tone seems to be getting bigger and bigger in Norway post Look Back so it makes sense to cash in on that collab.

According to his official website the song is “a rythmical summer song with a touch of urban pop”. They also confirm the album will be released in the summer.

Preview at scandipop here.

I know you shouldn't judge on a preview, but yeah, sounds pretty crap.

Not that I want to make it three mentions in three posts but it actually sounds like a Tone Damli reject, with his poor vox on it. I'll stick with the real thing I think.
Oh it does sound a BIT like a Tone song but it also sounds not too far removed from the more melodic mid tempo numbers on the first 2 albums so in that sense it's not a huge departure. I think it sounds pretty promising, though I'm not sure a full album of this sort of stuff would be massively appealing.
Shock that Scandipop are going crazy for this. I am so surprised, I didn't think they liked Eric Saade :P

You what? They raved RIDICULOUSLY over Saade (vols 1 + 2)

How could you not tell that I was being sarcastic?

Sounds like Whistle/Hey Porsche in the verses. That guitar based chord progression is EVERYWHERE recently! Not quite what I'd hoped for.

Hmmm let's see what we have here...

Yeah, a pretty standard cheesy guitarish affair.

I'm not loving it on first listen. It's quite cute, but that chorus is piss-weak. He's still a babe though, so i hope he can manage to pull off a few gems in the next album. Better than Miss Unknown though (not hard).
