I'm trying to send PM's out for BJSC as reminders. Rather than tediously PMing one person at a time, I'm trying to save time by doing these in bulk.

The problem I'm facing is as follows:

The following errors were found

Personal Message to 'sevenseize' will fail because 'sevenseize' does not exist!

Personal Message to 'liam' will fail because 'liam' does not exist!

Personal Message to 'addy k!ng' will fail because 'addy k!ng' does not exist!

Personal Message to 'jack500' will fail because 'jack500' does not exist!

Personal Message to 'scherz' will fail because 'scherz' does not exist!

This personal message has not been sent

What's baffling me the most is that:

1. The first attempt worked fine and I successfully sent a PM to one poster with 5 others cc'd in.

2. Re; the above example I typed their usernames EXACTLY as they appear on the forum. So for eg; SevenSeize NOT sevenseize but for some reason when I went to send the PM, it changed it all to lowercase and the above error message was displayed.

Not exactly helpful when you have deadlines and shit to work towards, whilst getting other stuff sorted out.

Technology, eh? Ain't it brilliant?!!! -_-

Its probably because some members have changed their display names, and they are known as someone else previously, if that makes any sense.

Its like Pavel when he keeps changing his socks all the time, every 5 mins.

Some of those members have never changed their names...

I have this issue sometimes when adding moderators - I can type out the name exactly as it is, but it won't accept it. The best way round it is to copy and paste their username from their profile - not ideal (or logical) but it works!
