oooo nice thread :D

Little Mix have 109 million views which I think you missed out though.

Shame it hadn't had started earlier, Sugababes would have done so much better.

Taio Cruz sticks out like a sore thumb in that top 5  More views than Coldplay seriously?

Not surprised at all at 1D getting the #1, they've been unavoidable for the last 2 years.

Alexandra Burke. REALLY!

The Start Without You video is borderline gay porn, so that might get her a lot of views.

Break Your Heart and Dynamite were pretty massive in 2010 (although everybody has probably completely forgot about them now ). And it's a lot more common now after Adele, but when Taio Cruz broke the US, it was a pretty rare feat for a UK artist at the time. And a lot of alternative leaning artists have surprisingly little views on Youtube.

I'd say 'Dynamite' is still quite well remembered, although 'Break Your Heart' is completely forgotten now. 3 weeks at #1 would you believe...

The original thread was done in January 2012, before they had really released anything. And alot of the artist such as Alexandra Burke and Pixie Lott were a lot bigger then, its hard to believe now but before the flop of her 2nd era Alexandra Burke was pretty successful.

Not sure if this is sarcasm or not but if not, its the official music video accounts for artists music videos, either through their own site or through Youtube.

Thanks. I'd obviously heard of Youtube, but Vevo was a new name to me.

Alexandra Burke. REALLY!

She had so much more but about 30 million views got lost during her transfer to VeVo

Jay Sean?

He was quite successful worldwide (like Taio Cruz, Coldplay, etc. he was "pre-Adele" so it was even more impressive at the time). Down and Do You Remember were especially big hits in the US (and worldwide in general) in 2009/2010. Plus lots of girls probably watch his videos for the eye candy.

His current single, Where You Are is infact #50 in their pop airplay chart today.
