100,000 should certainly happen for the album, not that 100,000 is anything great but it will get the album Gold Status.

I only discovered Kiss Me Once went all the way to Number 1 in Australia, her first number 1 since Fever.

Sold 6,769 copies at #13, taking its total to 48,858. I estimate 'Into the Blue' to be on ~51k.

It's worth mentioning that 'Kiss Me Once' has actually sold more than what its weekly totals combined suggest it has. In the week it charted at #2 with 29,251 sales, its overall total was 29,346, a difference of 95 copies. I have it with a total of 48,952 now.

It's the same situation with most new album releases lately. For instance, George Michael's sales for the week were 49,989, but its overall total was 50,119. 130 copy difference. Seems like they were bought in advance.

 I don't get this campaign at all.

I think the album will drop considerably as the week goes by. It has fallen down considerably on iTunes since the price increase. The fact the price was reduced after the album has only been released 3 weeks ago echoes a slight desperation by the record company in my view.

What? Pharrell was 4.99 on 1st week of release....... G Michael, Elbow, Sam Bailey all 4.99 on Amazon on week 2......

Its sales promo.... it boosts sales for a bit....

Amazon selling albums for 1.99 recently hence sales of Bastille, K Perry etc went up and the albums chart position also.....

there is no desperation in this album.... it is doing Ok

To be fair, on release week I was expecting this to be at the bottom of the top 40 by now if not out of it so I'm happy enough for it to (maybe) stay top 15 in week 4.

I think the struggle will be keeping it up with future single releases.

Well it's done better than Alanis Morissette's last few albums, and Kylie didn't even need to be dumped by Ryan Reynolds to make a fab album.

Yes, I am rambling, but in my defence, I'm coke deprived.

The thing is...... she still has plenty of promo opportunities.......

firstly....... Beautful with Enrique should do well on 5th may ... maybe a 59p ITunes promo too... but as it is Enrique featuring Kylie it may well do more for his album....

12th May - I was gonna cancel...... not sure what will happen here, but hopefully another top 20 single even if only for 1 week.....

she will do promo on Alan Carr and probably BGT lives too......

she is doing Sexercise for Logie Awards in Australia which will get good sales for her down there and probably make headlines here too!!

later in summer she has the KMO tour..... always attracts promo etc..... and probably get appearances on one or both of Strictly and X-factor......

could well have somekind of Audience with............

I think an Xmas or Tour edition of KMO will also be released including...'the videos' and duet with Will I am maybe? a few more remixes etc.

plenty to be going on with.....

I thought Beautiful was posponed?

The tour wont gain much sales, they never do really.

I Was Gonna Cancel is her next single and she has said that she hopes Beautiful will be a single at some point.

I know IWGC is next but I thought Enrique was releasing Beautiful featuring Kylie as his 2nd single............therefore she gets double promo..... maybe I am wrong....

I think 'Beautiful' has been postponed (hopefully cancelled) for now.

12th May is too soon for 'I Was Gonna Cancel', not that it'll do well anyway but that's just securing the deal.

notice how her tour comes back to UK for mid November just in time for Strictly and live shows of X-factor :)
