Does Mollie ever do anything except go on holiday? She was in America for like two months with Vanessa, was in Greece shooting the music video, was in France earlier in the year and now she's away to Africa. I know she's not exactly needed for any promo NOW but it just seems like they have the attitude of "oh we have to promote our single in a few weeks so better get some holidays booked in before then" instead of "we have a single out in a few weeks so what can we do to make it a hit?".

 

100%. This is all of them though not just Mollie. It really frustrates me. They're always in interviews going "oh we can have a career and a personal life". You'll not be saying that in 3 years girls when you're looking back wishing you promoted more

Couldn't agree anymore. Like I've said prior none of them seem enthusiastic recently

 

Can we blame them? Greatest Hits are literally the worst thing, so futile. I remember Vanessa being really against the idea of a Greatest Hits in 2013. I think she even laughed at the idea, but I'm not so sure. Anyway, she said they weren't going to release one anytime soon. (That was before the LFTW fiasco) and here we are.

 

Oh and 3-5 of their latest releases have been under-performing so it's not exactly really helpful to be enthusiastic. :(

 

There are no many TV-shows they can do at this time of the year. I wonder how they got so many performances for Missing You because from what I gather most of the TV-shows aren't back until Autumn/Fall.

I think out of them all Una is the only one who hasn't been on holiday constantly. I think she is away just now, but I don't remember her going anywhere (except USA) since she has ha Aoife

You would think that after the horrific airplay for Not Giving Up (and to a lesser extent, Gentleman and Disco Love) they would be booked on as many radio shows as possible. They MUST be aware of their lack of airplay by now? What are they doing about it?

I genuinely believe their team is doing the best they can to book TV slots but I think it's just not working for them at the moment.

Didn't someone say Rochelle & Marvin have been giving the This Morning Friday cover role for Summer? At least that's once a week promo if its true.

They did all the radios. Will probably get some TV in, though there isn't much they can do, they'll scrape the barrel. And I'd say they might do another radio tour nearer the time. I still think a well circulated tv advert will be their best hope for making sales though.

I'm also excited to say that as of the 18th of July I'll be presenting This Morning with Marvin for most Fridays throughout the summer! So exciting!! Tune and in and watch us in action!
shouldn't they be rehearsing or promoting or doing something more beneficial with their time then taking trips to Africa. I could understand if the era was over but within a month or so The Greatest Hits Album is to be released and it hasn't even been but on Itunes for pre-order yet. After watching them performing 'What Are You Waiting For' on youtube at some festival type event, they could easily do with some extra rehearsals (even if it's just occasionally) it perplexes me that they wish to remain popular and in demand artists yet they aren't willing to put in the same type of effort they once did. I don't know why I just feel they put more effort in around the Headlines Era and then it stopped. I sympathize a lot with Frankie and Vanessa dealing with their inner demons in the past few years however they both seem happier and healthier now and it feels The Saturdays aren't fulfilling their potential because I know when they try, they are great (for example the Notorious performance on So You Think You Can Dance) 3 of them also have kids so they already have their time split between their personal lives/marriages and their career so the fact they take holidays too is annoying, where do they find the time? They can be so impressive live sometimes and I remember when some of their older singles were released and being promoted, you couldn't miss them whether they were on the TV or on the radio or in the newspapers/magazines. So when they perform half-hearted dance routines and partially mime frustrates me so in addition for them to take holidays on a regular basis relentlessly also annoys me.

It's always confused me as to why they don't bother splitting up into groups for radio tours / signings. I really hope they do signings for Greatest Hits - if they split up into groups throughout the week I'm sure that could at least add 5,000+ sales as many people would just purchase the album to get it signed - I know I would:

 

It's a great shame - they've not bothered to do any live streams in ages / acoustic music of other songs to get their name further out there. It's sad to say but I would genuinely say they are happy with just doing the bare minimum.

Una's on holiday too. and Rochelle has just posted a photo of Marv and Alaia on a plane. more holidays!

What's worse is the My Heart Takes Over shade, and Vanessa calling it "What's It Gonna Be" because that's the opening line. Weird to think that we know their singles better than they do!

Jokes aside, I do think it's a bit sad/upsetting they don't seem to know these things really well. I mean, it's pretty much their career yaknow.

 

I don't think they ever really liked one of their ballads singles more than Issues, though.

I think it's more a case of they've done so many songs with rushed/muddled eras they've forgotton :lol:

Well of course we will know more than them I mean we worship them.
