July 27, 201410 yr Una on Saturday Night With Miriam http://www.rte.ie/player/6c/show/10307589/ she's on around the 8 minute mark Una doing that promo! She even sang Issues  !
July 27, 201410 yr Una doing that promo! She even sang Issues  ! it was a great interview. wish they'd used What Are You Waiting For in the video montage though. but she looked & sang lovely :)
July 27, 201410 yr I thought she was a bit off-key on Issues. I can see why the verses went to Vanessa now... However, nice little promo in Ireland!
July 27, 201410 yr the dancing in this performance was a mess. especially Mollie. but glad they actually got out there and promoted http://www.the-saturdays.co.uk/2014/07/27/...-una-goes-solo/

They don't even have a backing track, they just play the entire studio song. You can hear Frankie's vocals during one of the 'tell me what are you waiting for' so clearly and let's not even talk about her line during the second verse that no one bothered to mime to at the very least. For the first time, they sincerely really look like 14 years old girl auditionning for the talent show at school, but not even getting through the auditions. :/

July 27, 201410 yr And the routine to the "tonight we're gonna party party party" is just such a mess in general, worst bit of the routine, hands down, although I like the arse slapping.
July 27, 201410 yr Una's interview was actually quite good and at least she's bothering to promote it! Lol @ 3:08 onwards, what a mess! and omg I've never laughed so much at a Saturdays performance. I can't believe them, they should be in rehearsals as we speak because their dancing/choreography is a joke. Half of them aren't even dancing at the 3:08 moment omg so laughable hahaha plus mollie is a good dancer tbh it's just her timing is dreadful in that performance, usually she's one of the better dancers.
July 27, 201410 yr Seems like they just don't enjoy the song. None of them seemed into the performance. Kind of hoping that this isn't performed on tv now as it'll be terrible.

July 27, 201410 yr If they performed that badly and half assed (although calling that performance half assed would be a complement, so quarter assed) on the tour I would be devastated, this is the first tour of theirs I am going to and I want it to be amazing, live vocals, harmonies, in-sync dancing. Is that too much to ask?

I'm not 100% sure, but I kind of agree they don't look too interested in the song. Particularly get that vibe off of Una and Vanessa. However it's normally Rochelle and Mollie who bring the most energy to performances, and Rochelle definitely has the most here - while poor Mollie just doesn't have a clue what she's doing.
July 27, 201410 yr I see they've already ditched the choreography for the middle "what are you waiting for?" explosion section...
July 27, 201410 yr It's hard because on one hand.. that performance was a disgrace and it's ringing all sorts of alarm bells. But on the other hand I don't really think it's their fault. They don't rehearse enough to be as on point as other artists. And I say it's not their fault because it's not.. this is a job at the end of the day and their management is a joke. If your manager said you didn't have to go to work.. would you? They don't have enough discipline, they're not told what to do. And it's because they manage themselves, pretty much. Peter is their manager on paper but he's got such a bad team and it really really shows. I've never known a group like The Saturdays.. they ALL have other things going on. It's like they have 2 jobs. Other girlbands like Little Mix, Neon Jungle etc have really strong performances because they all focus on the group!

I also agree with Sociopath, Mollie is usually their second best dancer so to see her being so out of synch and not even remembering the moves is actually quite a shock. :o
July 27, 201410 yr I see Scherz's point, their management isn't strict enough to tell the girls they need to work harder on their performances and I get they're probably see that working mums can't always give 100 percent, but damn that performance is bad, it's like they rehearsed it for a karaoke night out. But I don't "entirely" agree with not being their fault, they've been in this world for a long time especially Rochelle and Frankie, surely they understand that their performances lack everything. On the other hand though, it's more so the job of their team to make sure everythings perfect, and some (Rochelle) are working hard on their solo-projects. It's time that somebody tell them that the time they're going on holidays could be a good rehearsal time to get everything on point. They make good music, but I really doubt they're commitment. And it does seem like they don't enjoy the song, how can you perform a song without connecting with it? You have to feel the song, you have to be the song, you have to be WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOH! B-)
July 27, 201410 yr Author As I said I predict that with streaming being introduced it will cost The Saturdays top 20. Leah Mcfall has done much better on pre-orders and has peaked at #27 on iTunes meaning she will no doubt miss the top 40. Pixie is looking likely to be struggling to go top 75 with her lead single for her album! It's all just worrying.
July 27, 201410 yr I've always thought that instead of having the mindset of "we NEED this single to do well, our airplay is horrible, our last album flopped and we have to be everywhere and anywhere. Peter can you book us on to _____ to maybe get some pre-orders boosted and then try see if you can get ______ to invite us on for an interview? We're also worried about the choreography for the single I think we should get Aaron to go over it again. Oh, are we going to do album signings this year? I miss doing them" their attitude is more like "Peter what gigs do we have? Oh, can we possibly cancel that one or change it to another day so we can go our holidays that week? We haven't been away in a while. When is the single out? Right, just don't book us on for too many morning shows we hate getting up early.".
