How long did Una and Rochelle take befor they started performing again?
I doubt Frankie will be back for this, but pleased to see them going to be back on tv.

I wouldn't say it's too early for another single. ' Disco Love ' hasn't got much going for it with airplay next to nothing. I'm hoping that ' Disco Love ' is reduced to 59p tomorrow to ensure that it manages to get 6 weeks top 40 at the max.

I wouldn't be surprised to see them perform ' You Don't Have The Right ' / ' Leave a Light On ' in an attempt to sell the album by performing a ballad somewhere.

Rochelle gave birth on May 20th and was performing 'Gentleman' on Lorraine on the 1st July.

Una gave birth on 17th March and was performing '30 Days' on Daybreak on May 18th.

(I used Wiki and YouTube to check  I'm not a stalker bwaha)

I'd say Frankie will be back after Christmas. I can't see her coming back to work just to take Christmas off to go back to work again.

edit - and Lee I'd say it's definitely a bad choice doing anything other than Disco Love. It's FAR too early for another single. Disco Love only got released five weeks ago and they haven't even shot a video or anything yet so performing it now would be an awful decision. Disco Love is at the lower ends of the top 40 so could be doing with a boost.

Glad to see they have something lined up :cheer: They have to realize that there is hope for Disco Love after how well it's managed to hold up so I imagine that's what they'll be performing. Maybe that and the new single!

Yes, performing album tracks would be a mistake. That'd be like when Nicole Scherzinger performed Pretty on US X-Factor when Don't Hold Your Breath had just been released. It did nothing for her because Pretty wasn't even available.

And still isn't haha.

I'm glad they are doing some promotion (apart from the album signing). It's hard to choose what to perform. To perform the new single would likely eliminate the chance for it to be top10 in the future (unless it is really liked) but Disco Love may have sold all the albums it could have, and another album track may just not get the same attention.

The safest choice would be Disco Love, but we'll see.

Hopefully they'll be able to record a new video before Christmas, although it's going to be difficult.

I have a sneaky feeling they'll do What About Us...but I HOPE it's Disco Love.

Which day does the 59p reduction usually occur LeeWallace? Monday or Tuesday?

- my phone just double posted that, sorry.

They should perform Disco Love and hope it will keep them in the top 40. They could do with selling another few 10ks. However, I wouldn't be surprised if they perform Leave A Light On.
MEDLEY BRING OUT A MEDLEY OF THE LFTW SINGLES!

This was what exactly my thought also was :) Mashup of What about us, Gentleman and Disco Love (or) probably just What about us and disco love, with an album track probably.Who knows, they could also end up with b-sides like wildfire or somebody else's life acoustic

Gentleman who?

They should do What About Us, Disco Love, and Not Giving Up of course.

Not to mention that Gentleman was runner up in popjustice blog ;)

The best English single of the last year? So glad you asked. Reigning English pop music blog Popjustice has announced the results of their annual Twenty Quid Music Prize, which honors the best single by a British artist in the last year released in the last 12 months (got all that?), and amid a shortlist containing venerable girl group singles like Girls Aloud‘s “Something New,” MKS‘ “Flatline,” Little Mix‘s “DNA” and The Saturdays‘ “Gentleman,” the winning song was by a more roundly US-endorsed act: Glaswegian synth-poppers CHVRCHES took the top nod with “The Mother We Share,” their breakout single.

Notably, it wasn’t a commercial hit for them either here or in the UK, but it’s still an excellent choice. Coming in as runner-up was The Saturdays’ aforementioned “Gentleman,” with Duke Dumont and A*M*E‘s “Need U (100%)” in third.

They've just confirmed on Twitter that it is Disco Love.

Yessss :D

I wonder if it'll have much of an effect. Surely if it's his first episode back it should get good ratings?

Tomorrow at Bristol Mall Cribbs Causeway!

Hopefully they manage to get a Children's In Need slot, the last time they promoted on a BBC show was Children In Need promoting My Heart Takes Over.
