The head of music at Radio 1 tweeted the video to 'I Love It' the other day so there's still chance that they'll playlist it.

Hopefully. If they do, I think it could still go top 5 for sure.

I really hope they do too cause that might mean their label will put the pre-order back on iTunes!

Sorry, just checked then and he just is part of the music team at Radio 1. Still, he did put 'poised to explode' and most of the other songs he has tweeted have been playlisted or are from artists who they always playlist.

I went to the cinema today and saw an advert for Samsung with Icona Pop - I Love It in the background :dance: It said in small writing "song available in June" and I did laugh a little to myself because obviously that may not be the case with how poorly they're handling the release :lol:

 

I do hope Radio 1 catch onto it though, I don't want it to just be this year's Brokenhearted - it deserves more than that.

'I Love It' is on the release schedule but it's really bugging me that it's supposedly getting release the same day as Union J's debut single. Why would they do that? :(

 

I'd rather give Icona Pop the chance to get released the week before Union J so that if 'Carry You' did top the charts, it'd most likely plummet in week 2 and 'I Love It' could maybe reclimb to #1 (in an ideal work 'I Love It' would just have 3 weeks at the top instead :P )

I don't think the release schedule has been updated yet, but the pre-order for 'I Love It' has been removed so I think it is safe to say that the release has been cancelled for the time being. :( But the 'I Love It' release date was 3rd June since March, so it would have been Union J's fault for choosing the same release date. :lol:
