May 6, 201312 yr Author Thanks to paulgilb for starting this discussion on Haven. Michael Molloy - only 18 when he died - becomes one of the youngest people to make a posthumous chart debut. The youngest is probably Ritchie Valens - mentioned in last week's commentary - who was just 17 when he died along with Buddy Holly. Paul asked about the youngest age at death for someone who charted in their lifetime. Buddy Holly, 22 when he died, is one of the youngest but Eddie Cochran died when he was only 21 :(
