By artist recycling do you guys mean using an artist that you've already used or using an artist that has been used by someone else? Confused.

Both. Some countries are masters at doing both to the point that you wonder if they only have a pool of 10 artists to send round a revolving door

Are semis opening tonight?

Hopefully! Confirmations should've closed at midnight last night/this morning.

It's NOTHING compared to hosting one of those QUIZZES FROM HELL (hai pointless and FF NEVER EVER EVER AGAIN).
BJSC is 100 times more effort than hosting one of the lounge quizzes :o (that said, you did put a lot of effort into FF with all of the spreadsheets etc...Pavster!)
I think people underestimate how much work you need to put into quizzes etc on this website, before actually doing it! The only advantage being for BJSC is copying and pasting everybody's votes.

oh you definitely can't just copy and paste in bjsc, the formatting of some votes is ridiculous!! (if you're like me and want consistency as well u have to edit them all)

so basically bjsc is a nightmare compared.

although live pointless was absolutely TRAGIC to host but fun at the same time!!

Pointless was EASY to host. You just need a system of doing the votes as they come in. Unknown Pleasures was far harder to host and that's just BJSC-lite as far as hosting requirements go, I would guess.

I've hosted BJSC and Never Mind The Buzzjacks and BJSC is a lot more hard work. Hosting a round of NMTBJ is easy peasy lemon squeezy in comparison.

(what Arrs said :D )

Going to quote this ready for when Aquafina host BJSC. Then we'll see if your opinion changes. :D

BJSC is all consuming for the entire month you host, in particular during confirmation and just before presenting any results. Add in the effort required to make the MP3 packs, graphics, spreadsheets and recaps (I know nobody does these anymore) and it becomes a massive workload! Everything else I've hosted on this site has nowhere near the same impact on my free time. That said, it's great fun to host, know the results before anybody else and put your own stamp on proceedings.
All the Lounge quizzes I hosted - Family Fortunes, Never Mind the Buzzjacks and the Album Cover Puzzle I believe - were a DODDLE, a few mistakes granted, but nothing too hard! BJSC certainly seems harder, I'd imagine there's (certainly in lewws case) a certain pressure to put your own stamp on things and not just rush it out...

I haven't hosted either but I could imagine BJSC being a lot harder. As C.W. said there is the dilemma of trying to make it "your own" without it being boring or copying things from past contests.
