Although there is no way in hell they're going to dent the music charts unless it's a proper anthem they release. If they think '30 Days' is going to break them in the US, they might as well give up now. They should launch with 'All Fired Up'.

I wonder if Higher will become their greatest selling single? I know it's around 5-10k behind Up, but I mean it should get at least 1k at the most this week!

It's a shame to see the girls underperforming tbh, they are always trying and promoting by doing concerts. I mean they've performed two concerts in a row in two days. One with and one without Una (who was judging that Sports show)

 

 

Frankie was at the opening ceremony rehearsal today, I don't know if the other Sats were there too though!

 

Imagine if they performed, that's be amazing! We can dream! :P

Rochelle and Mollie have revealed 'Lick Ya Down' by Cover Drive is the song they wished was a Saturdays single.

When 'All Fired Up' stars The Saturdays were asked which single from 2011 they wished they'd recorded, the girls all agreed on Cover Drive's debut song.

 

"I would record 'Lick Ya Down' by Cover Drive. It's such a good song," Rochelle said.

 

"It did well but I think it should have done better. It's a huge hit."

 

"I thought it would be a No. 1," added Mollie.

 

The Saturdays, who just missed out on a No. 1 single with 'All Fired Up', also said JLS' 'She Makes Me Wanna' and Adele's 'Someone Like You' were among their favourite songs of the year.

 

Imagine Mollie or Una doing the "now you flipped a switch you goin' wish you never did this" parts of 'Lick Ya Down'???

Seems likely that Girls Aloud will be selling about 70K this week with 'Something New'. Quite proud of The Sats now because 'All Fired Up' sold that in it's first week and that had much less hype and promotion than the GA track. :)

Same for DNA which sold 72k with an X-Factor slot and usual good promotion and a way better reception than All Fired Up. Oh and Stooshe's flop obviously.

 

I don't wanna be mean, but it's kinda nice to see other girlgroups do a bit like The Saturdays. It shows that they are not doing that bad afterall.

 

May I remind also that All Fired Up had a #18 position on the airplay chart the week it charted at #3 (peaked at #14 the week after). DNA had a #9 and Girls Aloud will most likely be in the top 5 airplay at the end of the week (so probably a double top 5, both in airplay and in the single charts). Stooshe was #8 on the airplay chart when Waterfalls charted at wherever it charted lol. :lol:

 

I would love the girls to handle another release like the All Fired Up one.

7. Favourite Sats moment When they found out Missing You was midweek #1 on their ITV2 doc. Sure, didn't end up there but their reaction was amazing. They seemed genuinely excited and overwhelmed. Hate that they seem to get so many bitchy comments and hate when they are such lovely, genuine and down to earth girls. Also, when they played Wembley on the All Fired Up tour. Electric atmosphere, and you could see they were loving every minute of it and how much it meant to them to be up on that stage.
