I don't know if it's because I don't expect much from her since she's always shit or average, but she didn't sound like shit for once, so go gurl! I wouldn't say "she can't sing at all". She is definitely the least good singer of the group, but it doesn't make her a bad singer. It just means the other four are good. I quite like her high harmonies on some chorus (she was like basically the only one singing Ego, thank god for her!)

Especially in Ego...oh wait.

I think the only song she sounded great was Issues, but she always does on that one. I thought the rest was either "Who cares if I sounded average, at least I didn't crack" or "I did crack, ugh".

Una, although she had quite a few weak vocals here and here (but then she had to sing most of Rochelle's line and she just can't sound as good as the Queen) was really great and spot on. Mollie was good and Frankie surprisingly didn't sound bad.

Notorious was great; I don't know what you were watching. Oh damn I haven't seen the performances not shown on the BBC Three repeat show. :/

For Ego, it's around the 12:40 mark.

I definitely like what she did with some of her parts ("B-boy my resume says I'm a bad gu-uuu-rrrr-l" and the "oh-oh-oh...i'm notorious" just before Frankie's bit), but then she went downhill with the "closer, baby, look in my eyes, do you recognize me?" part.

Thank you! Goodness you weren't lying about Ego, that was pretty bad.

With regards to Notorious u thought she nailed Rochelle's bridge. She sang it in the style of Rochelle haha.

I still think this is one of their best performances of all time. I wish they still brought this much energy when performing

Same.

That and the AFU performance on the John Barrowman thing are my all time two faves...

***plus Missing You at the Headlines tour :) ***

... just listened to FOI, Ego and 30... OM-f***IN-G... #TERRIBLE! 30Days does not work without Queen. Period
Gentleman is the best I've heard them live!! Oh, Gentleman has over 1 million views already, aside from WAU, thats there best in only 6 days?

Yes, it took 30 Days a month  (haha excuse the pun) to get 1 million

I think Gentleman will do brilliant, given the right promo. Dare I say, it could have a longer chart run, due to the amount of attention its getting?

It will do an All Fired Up in my opinion which is amazing. We just hope the third single (and lead single of the album) won't do a My Heart Takes Over.

I think they might try a ballad again, I mean if Gentleman does well, then it would probably work in their favour.
I think they thing that annoyed many fans about MHTO is that it is only Vanessa and Rochelle singing, I remember when it came out the outrage on youtube and twitter with all the 'why don't they let the other girls sing' comments. I hope they do a ballad I love all the ballads on OYR and I know Mollie is keen to release one as she said in an interview.

Ballads should always be released AFTER albums, imo. Albums have shown that they give albums great boosts and keep them stable so they should always be released after an album. Uptempo songs have more chance of being smash hits which they can launch an album off with (to the top ten) and then when the album begins to drop, the ballad is unleashed and boosts the album back up (but doesn't do much as an actual single).

My Heart Takes Over was never going to be a hit. The minute Notorious underperformed the whole album campaign was always going to go downhill.

Not really. If This Is Love hardly became a hit. Yet they had Up who did become a hit, but even with Up, Chasing Lights didn't peak in the top 10, but with promotion and Issues, they actually pushed it back in the top 10. I see what you mean, though. You can say that about Wordshaker I guess. But even with On Your Radar, All Fired Up wasn't a downhill from Notorious.

My Heart Takes Over is amazing, anybody that disagrees can be silent.

I think shadow may bave been referring to the fact Notorious was an OA/OS release. They tend to kill radio airplay for future releases and that pretty much was the case up until What About Us. :)

Also I This Is Love was released during quite a poor climate too.

Notorious nearly killed their career. Releasing an OA/OS song was always going to be a risk, but the fact they didn't promote it until weeks into it's release and the fact that basically nobody else was releasing OA/OS made it yet another stupid move by their label. Radio barely touched it because they didn't know if it was a hit or not and because the song underperformed, it made it so much harder to get radio on board for All Fired Up even though they done a radio tour for that and released it the traditional way. All Fired Up sold more and peaked higher than Notorious but Notorious certainly had a negative impact on radio supporting the girls and that only continued with My Heart Takes Over being snubbed completely and 30 Days peaking at #19 or something.
