So she is DEFINITELY going to be on the final? YES! I thought she was only going to be for the Semi 1! I'm so anxious to hear this. I thought the winner had to perform on the final anyway?

It seems so according to her Facebook! :cheer: I thought that too, especially when they announced

Carola

as the final's interval act! I don't know if they have to or not, but it does always seem to be the case.

Glad to hear it's getting some promo in the final...could be her last roll of the dice for the UK! Besides, they haven't announced ALL of the interval acts. It was announced that

Carola

would be PART OF the interval in the final, but there's more to it.

A Eurovision performance is excellent for her so she better release it in the UK and ideally at midnight Saturday night as she will gain extra sales with Eurovision so fresh in mind. If this all occurs Loreen could break the trend of Eurovision winners have (a) a hit single with the winning song and also a further chart entry. Not to mention is one of the few acts of recent years to manage a top 75 album in the UK on the back of Eurovision.

Off topic but i am excited Carola is also performing as i loved her winning entry from 91 and also her more recent entry with invincible. I have a strong feeling Sweden are going to deliver a very strong Eurovision this year that will be entertaining throughout.

I'm excited for this, hopefully it's good but I'm not expecting anything of a Euphoria standard. They would be stupid to not release it in the UK asap, Eurovision is the biggest promo it's ever going to get.

If this track does get an worldwide release on Friday, that might actually be perfect timing ready for Eurovision night. People only need to hear 30 seconds of 'Iris' and it shoots up into the top 10 on iTunes, so a full performance of 'WGTP' would be fantastic promotion.

I also like the idea of a Eurovision winner having more than one UK hit. Loreen - the 21st century's answer to ABBA? :D

Let's just hope the song is worthy enough.

In order for it to be a hit though, it definitely needs to be in the vein of 'Euphoria'/'Crying Out Your Name'/'My Heart Is Refusing Me' et al as opposed to the more mellow 'Requiem Solution'/'Heal'/'Everytime' etc.. From the title I would definitely say it's going to be that of the former, but the cover is suggesting it's going to be more towards the latter. I honestly have no idea what to expect  (I'm sure it'll be wonderful either way though :P)

I'm sad as I won't be there for the premier....

But this sounds good, nothing on her debut album so far though

Sounds very good! This is now available in full on Spotify according to Loreen's twitter, so if anyone uses Spotify you can listen now! I'll have to wait until it appears in full on YouTube or Soundcloud.
I think it's only available in Sweden as I can;t listen to it at the moment

Here is the full version of 'We Got The Power'!

I'm really liking this and I can tell it is going to grow with more listens too! And I can imagine this being amazing when performed live on Saturday!
And after a few listens, this is amazing! The way it builds up to that ending is brilliant!
With some new similar songs / albums she will be near with my all-time worst female singers. :)

Well it's no Euphoria, My Heart is Refusing Me or even See You Again but it does the job quite nicely.

Sounds more forgettable than anything on Heal though so i hope it grows and sticks.
