May 12, 201312 yr Oh f*** it, I don't even care enough about Clara anymore. I'm going to go find spoilers. From what I read (may be a bit scattered seeing as I didn't want to read it all), the Doctor's 'tomb' is opened revealing all of his history. Clara then tries to fix the situation by going 'somewhere', and by doing so this scatters her across the universe, and leads her to dying, and dying, and dying.
May 12, 201312 yr I read this (which would fit with that) obviously don't read if you don't want to know The Great Intelligence kidnaps the doctors friends and then basically what you said, the TARDIS is the doctors tomb and the only way to get in is by speaking his name, which only River knows so she does so. Then inside the great intelligence kills the doctor in each and every timeline/variation of his existence (ie. all his incarnations) and basically the reason Clara keeps dying is because she goes into each one to save him each time. Then somehow she gets trapped and HE has to save HER. Basically it sounds f***ING AMAZING
May 13, 201312 yr I honestly can't wait! I really think this is going to be one of Moffat's best episodes to date, and one of NuWho's best episodes to date! :D
May 13, 201312 yr This really has been the worst season so far. No wonder it's losing viewers. Ever since the doctor / Donna, it's never been the same.

May 13, 201312 yr S2>S1>>>>>>>S3>S7>S6>S4>S5 I barely remember ANYTHING about S4, I didn't particularly like Donna either... 1 & 2 are still the best, maybe because I was young and more easier pleased than I am now, but they both had so many highlights. The Daleks & Cybermen together particularly. I know series 3 didn't have the best companion, but asides from that, I thought the episodes were fairly good. The finale was great and Blink remains possibly the best episode since the resurrection for me. The last three series' haven't been awful, but they've just lacked something, S5 in particular was a low point, I barely remember anything of the finale... Edited May 13, 201312 yr by Chez Wombat
May 13, 201312 yr S3 > S4 > S5 > S7 > S2 > S6 > S1 Just to be different and all. I loved Series 3, so many great episodes and I really liked Martha. Series 1 just feels very dated now, and it's only been 8 years.

I would have loved to see him in the role for a second series.

May 13, 201312 yr Author For me S4 >>>> S5 > S2 > S6 > S7 > S1 > S3 Winner. I can't take anyone seriously that places S3 anywhere but last
May 13, 201312 yr Moffat has confirmed that Series 8 is definitely happening, despite rumours that the show would be going on a long break. He's writing episodes for it just now! :w00t:
May 13, 201312 yr I just hope the BBC put it back at a full 13 episode season over consecutive weeks. I'm bored of this split season thing already.
May 13, 201312 yr Extremely disappointed with this weeks, I love the Cybermen and they were completely underused, there was barely any form of dialogue or in fact any distinguishable aspects that set them apart from other villains, and they are so much more than that...I also didn't really feel any sense of suspense or terror there, no one really seemed scared and the resolution felt (as in MOST episodes this series) rushed and too conveniant. I did love the Doctor's Jekyll/Hyde type personality though and Porridge was a great addition. Next week's looks quite frankly incredible.
May 13, 201312 yr I can't take anyone seriously that places S3 anywhere but last  I personally think Series 3 had a lot of great episodes: Gridlock, 42, Blink and the final 3 episodes were really good, despite the reset at the end (which doesn't look as bad anymore compared to some of the latest Series 7 episodes). I really really like Martha too, even if I'm alone on that.

I hope so too, although I would rather stick with Moffat's plan of having it run from late October to early February for a whole 14-episode run (including Christmas special). April - June leaves a massive gap from when the show finishes to Christmas. :(
