You'll know I Love It has been released when the thread is 45 pages long.

The radio edit of 'Get Lucky' seems to be decreasing at the same rate the album version is increasing. Could see Passenger climbing up to #2 soon although obviously Daft Punk will remain #2 officially.

However, 'I Love It' is now getting the *.* treatment on the music channels. The Box and Smash Hits (iirc) were both doing their Video Of The Week thing and played Icona Pop at 7:55pm on both channels. When this happens, you know there's a big hit on the horizon (even if ideally it would've been released at least 4 months ago in the UK)

 107. Stephanie Treo - I Love It

Nearly top 100 (and would be without the Eurovision songs) and still 6 weeks until release! :o

As if it hasn't already been blatantly obvious for ages that it'll be a big hit?

Well, yes but the whole Very Important Play makes it all the more obvious. :D

 13. Daft Punk "Get Lucky" (AV)

 26. Robin Thicke "Blurred Lines" (Pre-Order)

 45. The 1975 "The City"

 68. Daft Punk "Lose Yourself To Dance"

 70. David Guetta "Play Hard" (New Edit)

 81. Cascada "Glorious"

 97. 30 Seconds to Mars "Up In The Air"

I know people have asked before, but how high did "Skyfall" get before release (assuming that this holds the pre-order record?)

As if it hasn't already been blatantly obvious for ages that it'll be a big hit?

When it was a couple of weeks from its apparant release and Radio 1 decided to ignore it / it was bombing on pre-orders, it was hardly a cert.

Doing so well! :cheer:

Nice to see 'Still Into You' climbing again. Thought that it would start dropping when it fell out of the top 20 :D
I think the best Demi will do is #5, there could be an all new top 3 again of Daft Punk, Thirty Seconds To Mars and The National (those are now the top 3 on the iTunes album chart) and I'm sure Rod Stewart will stay ahead of her.
Very glad 'Young and Beautiful' is doing well now, it works so well and is very powerful in the movie. However, I think it might also be because the other music played felt so out of place

17. Paramore - Still Into You

20. Mariah Carey Feat Miguel - #Beautiful

25. Stooshe - Slip

30. Evanescence - Bring Me Back To Life

34. Little Mix Feat Missy Elliot - How Ya Doin?

41. The Black Eyed Peas - Where Is The Love (Should hopefully start falling as it's been increased to 99p)

43. The 1975 - The City

46. Drake Feat Rihanna - Take Care

49. The Saturdays Feat Sean Paul - What About Us

57. Gabrielle Aplin - Panic Cord

60. Tich - Dumb

62. Carly Rae Jepsen - Tonight I'm Getting Over You.

43 - The City - The 1975

Smash that top 40 as soon as possible please! :w00t:

I have no doubt it will be top 40 officially.

Another potential problem for Emmelie is that next week's Radio 1 chart show will only be doing the top 10 because of the Big Weekend and I can't see her staying there for that all important play.

Because the ESC is such minor publicity? :P

Thanks for the heads-up about the Big Weekend though - now I won't accidently tune in too early!

I think it's fairly obvious. She's been universally seen as a joke, is a washed up act and the song is dire.

The ESC is washed up.

24. Lana Del Rey - Young and Beautiful

I hope it will be Top 30 on Sunday. It's nice song and Lana is always welcome..:)

She has an amazingly sensual voice!
