Cassadee Pope won the third season of The Voice U.S. and the studio version of her debut single 'Wasting All These Tears' has just been released! Nearly every single one of her The Voice performances reached the US iTunes Top 10 and from what I gather, she is definitely the most popular contestant that The Voice U.S. has produced.

 

The single is a mixture of country, pop and rock influences and has been compared to Kelly Clarkson and Avril Lavigne. I'm going to check out some of her The Voice performances as I'm loving 'Wasting All These Tears'! Listen to the song below!

 

I love her, but I'm really disappointed with this, it sounds so cheap!

I don't know why does it sound cheap to you, the production is very good. Also, it definitely sounds like Avril or Kelly, I'm glad she is doing something she is very comfortable - unlike Jarmaine Paul whose new single is so not him and is very bad.

Easily the best thing put out by a The Voice contestant aside from Dia Frampton's Billy The Kid. HOOKED.

 

As for The Voice performances, Over You was stunning but it has nothing on the perfection that is the Miranda Lambert original, which was written by Cassadee's The Voice mentor Blake Shelton who is Miranda's husband.

I'd not heard anything by her until I listened to this, very impressed! Lovely little song and I hope it's big in America.
