Best bit in the film is 5 seconds after this when she hits the deck.

The official album has been released in the UK now and is top 30 on iTunes which seems very high! :o Anyway none of the tracks are album only and they are all 79p (they are usually 99p I think)! I wonder if Molly's record label will get her track changed to album only and if it doesn't, I wonder if it could go top 200 tomorrow?

The preview party was great last night! The main highlights for me were Molly, who sang two new album tracks along with Children Of The Universe, they all sounded great. Ruth put on the vocal of the night, she performed Nessun Dorma in an opera style - absolutely blown away - along with Purple Rain (!) and Dancing In The Rain - vocally flawless every time. Carl Espen was stunning, Silent Storm was a really crowd silencing moment. And Freaky Fortune were incredibly good, their entry was brilliant and they did their Eurovision medley and a 90s pop medley too, all fantastic and Rise Up will do great things next month.

Conchita got by far the biggest cheer, really brilliant performer and singer. Suzy was surprisingly strong as well, she covered Quedate Conmigo and smashed it vocally! Romania were brill to finish with too, Paula Seling and Ovi are great energetic performers. My favourite guest stars were Linda Martin and Anne-Marie David, both brilliant for entirely different reasons. As for the not so great, Aarzemnieki were not particularly strong live at all compared to the other performers, Firelight fell a bit flat with a cover of Adele's Someone Like You and another song that finished 2nd in the Maltese heats a few years ago apparently. Coming Home was great but didn't particularly feel like a 'moment' like I thought it might have.

Aram MP3 was pretty embarrassing to watch during his cover song, a Martin Solveig cover according to Tom Kay, very strange choice! The production of Not Alone was brilliant in the second half but the whole thing was weak in the first half and it was vocally 'try-hard' throughout and he kept smiling weirdly, which seemed odd as it doesn't suit the song or performance. There was certainly no winner atmosphere around it at all, it felt like the sort of thing that would have crashed out in the semis a few years back. Maria from Ukraine was merely ok for me, Valentina was great and a crowd pleaser with her other entries but Maybe is not a strong song, Sebalter was average for Switzerland and Sergej from Montenegro was a little bland to start with but I did really enjoy Moj Svijet! Other acts not mentioned were Marcin from Poland 2010, Scott Fitzgerald from UK 1988 and the girl who won JESC for Malta last year, all nice enough, the latter was vocally amazing for someone so young.

Overall very good, Nicki French finished the night with the iconic Don't Play That Song Again. And they didn't.

Sounds like a fantastic night Rich! I'd have loved to have heard Ruth do 'Purple Rain' live!
And FYR Macedonia. The Polish act pulled out a few days before, and I have no idea what happened to Tijana, she went AWOL

That's a shame that they pulled out! I can't imagine Tijana getting another opportunity to play a gig in london!

In other news, just noticed the eurovision album is up to 21 on itunes in the UK :cheer:

Does anybody know where i can find chart run information for eurovision albums in the UK? Curious to see how well they usually do!
I don't have chart runs but I know the last few have gone either top 5 or top 10, but not until the week after Eurovision, they always start slowly.

thanks! will take a look :)

Just listening to the album now and im liking the studio version of COTU more!
