Early Offspring sorta, but when they start with all that "Pretty Fly for a White Guy" sh!t, nah, no way.... Green Day are very debateable as well, the whole "Saint Jimmy" thing is definitely based around UK Punk and "American Idiot" and "Jesus of Suburbia" are pretty credible punk tracks, but most of the GD stuff that I've heard is incredibly poppy, like the sort of $h!te that sprang up in the UK in the late 70s/early 80s to cash-in on the last gasps of the punk movement - Generation X, Jilted John, that sort of thing....

March 24, 200619 yr Hmm. What have you heard by them? Who? Green Day and Offspring? I heard various songs off Dookie/Nimrod/Insomniac/Warning, etc... "Basket Case", "Time of Your Life", "Minority", "Geek Stink Breath" etc, etc... "Offspring" the only stuff I liked was off the first couple of albums - the Nitro and Epitaph stuff, when they signed to Columbia, that's pretty much when they started sucking big time....
