I really like it on first listen (though the rap less so). I think the similarities between him & Conor Maynard are clear but I still don't like 'Can't Say No'.

In all honesty I actually don't mind this. Gonna get SO much unnecessary hate just because it's Justin Bieber though...

 

Also if the release date is really May, it's so going to number 1. I kinda hope it does in a way, imagine the Buzzjack meltdowns :lol:

Some people just really need to learn how to be objective. Like some of the comments on FB/Twitter I've seen are things like 'I hate it because it's Justin Bieber', which is ridiculous imo. I mean even if LMFAO release a song I will listen before I decide I hate it, of course I am likely to intensely hate it but there is a chance I might like it.

Yeah, too true. Even I used to "hate" Justin, until I took a listen to the whole of My Worlds last February. Was hooked after that, especially on Love Me, which is still my favourite to this day.

My 5th listen of the song just now. It's getting better with each listen for me...this is so gonna be my guilty pleasure but I'm not sure I even care about being guilty for liking it...if it's a good song, it's a good song, that's what I say! Especially in pop when you're only ever as good as your last single - and given I can just about hum the chorus of one of his other songs that's saying something!

I'm a bit HESITANT to listen to this as I am with anything to do with Bieber but I have a feeling this could actually be okay, I do like 'Can't Say No' after all... having looked at the lyrics for this they're just as bad as ever though (but again CSN's lyrics are hardly fantastic either). A bit irked at the prospect of potentially liking a Justin Bieber song :drama:

God, this is BRILLIANT, and not even in the guilty way that I kind of loved Baby and Love Me. Plus, some people in here seem to be kind of mixing up 'basic' and 'minimalist'. It's really obvious he's going for an updated twist on the Timberlake/Neptunes style...
