Most people are forgetting how many weeks Daft Punk sold over 100k on slightly lower sales, so I think it'll be a similar amount of weeks for Robin Thicke (five weeks?).

I could easily see Robin matching Daft Punk's 5 weeks over 100k. He's probably going to sell similarly this week to his first 2 weeks and I can't see his sales nearly halving within another 2 weeks. Nonetheless, still expecting Icona Pop to get #1 (John Newman could possibly get #2 if he does release a week early but probably now #3 with very high sales).

I'd say even with no single Kanye has to be favourite over Kodaline. Look at how Watch the Throne did even before "Niggas In Paris" took off - he's very much back in the public consciousness after that, Cruel Summer and his other half.

A really harsh comment to make, like said above. Also, during a national emergency when everyone was looking to the president for guidance, he goes and says that, potentially undermining confidence. It took the attention from the victims and put it on Kanye West. It's a sweeping statement that doesn't even try to be an accute analysis of the events.

Baa.

Well I for one will be buying Kodaline's album and not Kanye's because they have actual talent and don't make complete trash which can barely be called music... But that's just my opinion. To be honest I'd prefer pretty much any album in existence being number 1 ahead of Kanye West because he really doesn't deserve it and his ego doesn't need to be boosted any higher. I mean, I'd even be happy with Emeli Sande getting another boost and blocking him from number 1, that's how strongly I feel

I agree

It's an interesting topic in itself, but i'm quite astonished that people can blanketly disregard an artist because of things that have nothing to do with their music (ok maybe songs like I AM GOD won't help the disbelievers in this particular instance) but especially when such music has been so critically hailed indicating that there is some substance there, it's a little strange to call it all disgusting because he has an inflated head. And this ego thing is so obviously a character that it's hard to take seriously at all - really don't think it should be taken tooo much to heart

But if he can come even half as close to matching Graduation or My Beautiful... then it's already looking to be my album of the year. Clips and reviews that are steadily surfacing are looking extremely promising.

I can see how some have this reaction to him - I can accept Kanye West is talented and has the odd good song here and there, but I feel his personality is just reflected so much in his music that I find it quite tough to seperate man and music in this case. He is who he is and I'm a bit indifferent to him either way, oddly enough.

Poor "Mine" and "Let Me Love You (Until You Learn To Love Yourself)".

Oh I forgot about "Mine", but I never knew about "Let Me Love You (Until You Learn To Love Yourself)"! :o I doubt season 5/6 will give them any more either, so it could potentially be their last ever.

'LMLY(UYLTLY)' actually charted higher than 'Mine' (#77 to be precise). 'I Love It' could give them a first and last top 75 hit of series 4 though :P

:cheer: at Fuse ODG kicking Leah out of the top 10! Leah to fall away with haste and not climb into the top 15 officially now please.

I love the Glee cover of Let Me Love You, it should have charted instead.

It looks like Wiley's next single will be one of the following:

1. Hands In The Air (feat Tulisa)

2. So Alive (feat Far East Movement)

3. My Heart (feat Emeli Sande)

Sorry mate

No probs, I don't know if you visit that forum regularly or not but I think you would find a lot of interesting threads there.

Leah had a good run in the top 10 didn't even expect her to be in the top 10 for as long as she did hopefully more top 10's to come :D.
