Just watched her performance on Jonathan Ross. Awful diction! Why does she slur words?

I am not sure if her mic was a bit too quiet or what but I did find it quite hard to hear what she was saying at times. Honestly though I preferred it to the studio version, the annoying bits in the song felt less prominent.

Not being funny Lee, but it does strike me that it's usually you getting personal with Jake because he's given an opinion you object to. Why don't you just elect not to read his input anymore? These little spats between the two of you are unnecessary and tiring for others to have to sift through.

Who even mentioned anything about whether she's quiet as a person or not?! Or worse, CRITICISED her for that? I am talking about her music here, if you haven't noticed.

 

I couldn't CARE LESS if she was 'different' or 'weird' in real life ('weird' >>>>> 'normal' anyway) but what she puts out there doesn't match the lyrics or music itself. It's uncomfortable. If she was singing about something that would match all those wide-eyed cray cray facial expressions or her personality then I'd have no problem (although her previous eras were JUST FINE so I guess it's just her trying to show everyone what she thinks 'nasty' means? no idea).

Those awful.facial expressions are part of her performing persona. They are fair game for criticism

correct me if i'm wrong but being 'awkward' and 'quiet' are two attributes that are the very antithesis of what makes a good popstar and she certainly seems neither of those things to me. fame hungry if anything.

 

why are you so insistent on being so aggressive why do you care what others have to say about a popstar you do not know personally? you are the only person who's felt it necessary to reduce yourself to name calling. and please stop bleeting on about moderator this and that. it's becoming very laborious.

I didn't think her diction was that bad there, she's had much worse performances. I feel a bit sorry for her though, she was so overhyped for her first campaign she couldn't put a foot wrong, but not she gets very little attention and her quality of music has roughly been the same throughout, it must be frustrating to know you peaked so young and the struggle she'll face to ever get back to that level. She's a good lil popstar as far as I'm concerned and quite inoffensive, she just needs to keep working on her singing.
