June 25, 201312 yr Author You Have More Friends Than You Know was a song written about a play about the It Gets Better Campaign. One of the original writers, Jeff Marx, also released his own version. So the Glee version is a cover - one that is more well known than the original. It is the second song relating to gay equality and acceptance to top these charts in 2013.
June 25, 201312 yr Lol, loving the cheeky little midweek and cool website :) 1(1) Glee Cast - You Have More Friends Than You Know (6.5wks #1) (USA)
8 Since charts began in 2002, the record for accreditation in the year of release is
9. Can this track beat that record? 2002, wow your charts have been running for a looooooong time! Nice work keeping it up and good on you for supporting LGBT rights :) I am a gay so I'm happy you support me lol This is my fave tracks in your charts :D 8(6) Icona Pop - I Love It (SWE) Like this one too! 15(14) Paramore - Still Into You (0.5wks #1) (USA)

June 25, 201312 yr It is the second song relating to gay equality and acceptance to top these charts in 2013. Hi Tara, I'm just curious to know what was the first song relating to gay equality? :kink: I love Cinderella & I Love It in this midweek's chart. ^_^
June 26, 201312 yr Author The first song relating to gay equality was Macklemore's Same Love, which went to #1 twice earlier this year (rap #1s are rare in this chart). It is currently cumulative #2 of this year, and the biggest English rap song ever.
