39 in the midweeks, lets hope it can officially get a top 40 place on Sunday, i did fear it would miss the top 40 so i would be delighted for it to make it. Maybe he should have waited another week or 2 as dear darlin is still selling quiet well and as it stands is charting higher than it in the midweeks.

He's doing some more promo next week apparently. But then to be fair to the man he's had a break this week and voice rest due to a throat infection having just finished the Robbie tour so that's kind of more important. It is only the 4th single off an album that's sold hugely anyway so it's not too much to fret about.

He's performing on Daybreak on Friday so that may help reverse this into the top 40. Why were people downloading "Gold Digger" again all of a sudden?

I know, I'm over the moon at him to getting another top 40 hit. It's a bummer Busy missed out in 2011 :(

Shame not to see this do better, but he's had two pretty big hits (and Army of Two) from this era already. Not bad. I feel like 2013 was the year I finally connected with Olly so it is pleasing that he seems to have some mileage left in him despite his beginnings.

It deserves better, but for a 4th serving from an album that has sold well it has done ok and may have a steady top 75 chart run. The last album did not see a fourth single release, the fourth from his first missed the top 40 so this is a step forward. It will easily stay top 50 this coming week.
